America's multi-state lottery titans agree to ticket-selling partnership
Hi Tnplayer805....
I think that reality alone of having a shot at a life changing jackpot Monday-Saturday is what will keep people playing regardless of the odds of winning.
I am wondering though, if it will be more people playing but, they may not buy as many tickets per play.
With 3 different games to participate in (state, MM and PB) people may spread out what they are already spending over the three games......just a thought.

Lotto is prediction possible
Even tho you see these combinations repeating, there is no way to know which of the 575,757 will be the next one to repeat. So, no, I do not see any way this can be used to reduce your odds against losing.
Suggestion: Read all the history here on LP. Go back 5 years and read what others (even those who have been long gone) have to say. There are several excellant suggestions back there. I found one the other day on the blogs. The writer is long gone and probably has forgotten all about LP. I

Pb & MM in same state...what will happen?
I've recently had a change of opinion on one national lottery versus two seperate games like PB and MM.
Barring the possibility that the two entities might go into cahoots and worsen odds, I think competition is always the better choice.
Now, being more vulnerable to the pressures of competing for lottery dollars in each state, they may actually make their respective games better for the players.

Thanks for taking the time to respond and you see I am an analytic person, not by choice but I need to know how you came up with those pairs???. Where did the 026 come from?? its not on these pairs. Am I suppose to continue to play these pairs from two weeks ago and hope one of them hits??. I've notice that a/some players win 4 to 5 times in a week and they announce it to others, how do they do it???. I am not trying to solicit picks from anyone but I just want to try and duplicate what the winn

When I look at numbers I dont see them as the average person does, example 222 looks like 222 to the average person. but to me I see 222 272 777 772, I look for trends. if you use the one up one down, mirrored numbers, 123,234,345,444, key numbers, etc systems they do'nt work all the time. I have one workout when I see a certain trend and another for other trends. If I can know one number, a pair or the whole number my odds go down. I think everyone is giving a taste of his or her workouts on th

Jackpot Chasers
I think we may be talking about two different things here.
What I am saying is that all things being equal it doesn't matter in a geographic sense where you buy your ticket.
You can better your odds any way you choose but it still doesn't matter what state you buy the ticket in.
States that sell more tickets will naturally have more winners but that doesn't mean buying a ticket in that state gives you a better chance of winning.

Jackpot Chasers
Ky Floyd, you make a good point and after reading your post I think I might just travel to NY or CA to buy MM tickets. I do think my chance of winning a jackpot would be increase. That's mainly because it seems that more jackpot tickets are sold there than any other state. Back to my original question If you knew what CITY ; would you go there. Maybe your odds won't improve, but I think mine would shoot sky high, or make me feel as if I have a better chance.
For example, let's say a fly ball

I agree with you. as long as you see somebody else getting the big one, you gonna think i have the same chance to win , and you go to the store and put a buck in the odds.
be realistic. you can win.

America's multi-state lottery titans agree to ticket-selling partnership
They need to make sure that lower prizes are still the same odds. I don't want to hear ..and the PowerMegaBall number is 98! nor do I like the idea of one ticket costing $5 unless I have a good shot at winning $100 on the Bonus Ball alone. It's going to be very confusing especially on the big jackpots when people who don't normally play don't understand which is which. The betslips are already too crowded; the nj Mega slips have doglegged borders to fit the extra #s they have now!
I would alw
