Suggestion to Todd
Thanks for the understanding Fibonacci! [Edit: thanks Maddog too!] It's really great when people try to understand what it's like to be on this end of the keyboard. So now, my dear RedToad, posting a link cannot be compared to posting in all capital letters (although at times the latter can seem just as obnoxious). I ran a bunch of actual usage statistics over the 7+ year history of Lottery Post and found that the vast majority of times when a new member posts a link, it is the act of a sp

The Secret
Anytime you have to pay for something, it's no secret... It's a scam. The first 20 minutes of the DVD were posted on Youtube. What I got from it was that VISUALIZATION is the key. You have to believe that what you desire already has happened... So of course I put this to the test... I want to win the Powerball, I only play ONE ticket... so my visualization was to download a copy of the powerball numbers page and start tweakin' the HTML... I advanced the date, entered MY line, reset th

I won 2,000,000.00 Euros
Listen pacattack05, I wasn't trying to get on you in a negative way. My bad if my delivery was a bit brash. But what I am trying to tell you is they can use your personal information like your name, birthday, and address to get the ball rolling on finding out your other personal info. What I am trying to say is don't give them ANY info. These scam artists are VERY resourceful and WILL find out your other info. You don't need to give them your Bank Account information. With your name,

Indicted suspect to appear on Ohio Lottery TV show
A man awaiting trial on charges accusing him of bilking $135,000 from three people in a home-repair scam is scheduled to appear on the Ohio Lottery's television game show, officials said. Timothy Snyder and other contests, who earn appearances on Make Me Famous, Make Me Rich through scratch-off lottery tickets, potentially could win $60,000 or more on the show. There are no laws or rules preventing Snyder from appearing on the show, which was taped this week, lottery spokeswoman Marie Ki

What Would You Do For $10 Million Bucks?
Gee, wow. This brings several things to mind, from the Book of Questions to an episode of Wise Guy where Sonny (the late Ray Sharkey) found out the the character played by Ken Wahl was an undercover cop. There's a scene where the cop says, You kill people , and the gangster, Sonny, says, I don't send teenagers over to some jungle to do it for me. Not sure what I would and wouldn't do. The first thing is how could you know the offer was legit? Brings this (risque) story to mind thou

Lotto Buster
Over the last few years I have found Lotto Post an enjoyable website and I especially like the news articles and posts about various lottery theories. In those years I have never been moved to join the forums but your message has struck a nerve, big time. To start with, I bought Lotto Buster 5 years ago for $19.95. In the last 5 years they have added a couple, three dozen new features and provided them in the form of downloadable updates. My additional cost for these updates has been zip, nad

Scratch Tickets are NO GOOD
Thought I'd post what I saw the other day. It shocked me, but in light of recent events it made things all to clear. First off I would like to say that I am new to this forum and I have not searched it yet, so if this topic has already been covered... well sorry. Anyway, I live in Ontario Canada and in the last few months our provincial Lottery Corporation has been under fire for the disproportionate amount of lotto agents (the store clerk) who have won big awards from scratch ti

Kansas Powerball lottery winner claims jackpot anonymously
The Powerball Annuity payout was changed last year to a graduated annuity payout - with each year's payment going up by 4%. If you had a lump of cash and wanted to set up your future, any financial advisor worth their salt would recommended a graduated annuity. Tough to live on even $1 million a year if it never keeps up with inflation. Lottery payouts that are equal really are not meeting the needs of a winner that wants to sit on the beach and not think about the money. The graduated annui

Personal Problem.. Advice requested
Would turning this over to BBB do any good? What would you do? It's never a waste of time filing a complaint, but I don't have much faith in the BBB. It's a self-regulated organization that accepts dues from the very people we complain about, and often the complaints do nothing to resolve the consumer's problems. From what I understand, almost every used car dealer is a member of its local BBB. As others have said, try writing to newspapers, tv stations and other consumer advocate group
