Upgraded the editor -- everything working OK?
Believe it or not, it may yet be a Windows 98 issue. It doesn't sound like a browser issue, since the browser is able to show the RTE in one or two of thew windows. Here are some possibilities I can think of:Memory problem (OS-related) - since the RTE is a complicated program, it does take up a chunk of OS memory. Windows 98 does not have anywhere as good memory management as Windows XP. Plus, if you're still using Win98, that means you have a pretty old PC, so it probably has weak memory --

Million-dollar ticket fight goes before Mass. Lottery board
Holder of a bearer instrument is presumed to be the owner. It is not a conclusive presumption and can be disputed. If it is proved that such instrument has been lost or misplaced by the rightful owner, finder must return it to the owner. When a property is lost or misplaced, there is no relinquishment of ownership. Finder does not automatically own the property. By law he must exercise due diligence in finding the owner. If no rightful claimant comes forth, than finder can claim ownership.

"wishes to remain totally anonymous"
I've read many stories about lottery winners who are broke or committed suicide, etc. One site has a long list. These tales are very sad as is the suffering of anyone. But sad stories are part of everyday life and reading about starving children is a heck of a lot more upsetting than hearing about rich people whose lives were destroyed, especially after this year's hurricane season. I believe most people would benefit from winning $65M. If it's too much pressure, then build a couple of homeless

N.C. resident speaks out against computerized lottery drawings
Editor: The following letter appeared in the News Observer (Raleigh, N.C.) this morning, November 23, 2005. The Lottery Post staff urges other North Carolina residents to do as this bright woman did, and speak out on this important issue. Don't sit back and risk the possibility that your state will use a computer instead of real lottery drawings!I'm very happy that North Carolina has joined the rest of the East Coast in adopting a state lottery, and I'm excited to start playing. However, as

After you win the lottery?
Hello everyone I'm new to the lottery post. I really enjoy this website it has much more info than state lottery websites or even Powerball or MM websites. Anyways I was curious as to a few details of wining the lottery, first how do you verify you're ticket is the winner? I mean i always check the paper and several websites, but I wouldn't go to the gas station where I buy tickets they have big mouths and the local newsstation would be there before I could get out of the parking lot. Second

You just won $310,000,000!!
However, you do throw out some pretty harsh comments, hopefully tongue-in-cheek, about old people. You have to take what I say about old people in context to the thread. Most evolved around equality to younger people, and I beleive there is no comparison. Old people can't compete with the younger crowd. (There is always the 10% rule - where 10% doesn't follow the rule.) The same, in part, applies to all aspects of life. Life in this country is special. Go to Ghana, Ethiopia, or the Congo.

Jackpot Winner Anonymity poll...
No one will care who you are after a few weeks. The Wests are already off the front page. They have been on it for weeks, and no one bothered them. Hundreds, if not thousands, of lottery winners live peacefully. Your self-importance is over-rated. Those winners who are harrassed are the rare exception to the ones who are never bothered. Once you get over the initial hump, no one cares. Unless of course, you keep the attentionn on yourself.People appear to be hung up on this, my life is

Lottery winner cries foul
that man is a bastard. and he calls himself a man of god. well... there are many shady people in the world.... like that woman who stole the $250,000 mcdonald's prize from that mentally disabled charge of hers back in the late 80s, early 90s; or the family that was busted for collecting social security checks for years in the name of a handicapped young boy who was found on the property in a barrel of cement.and then there's the weird case of the maine couple who purchased one set of tickets fo
