When the winning probability grows proportionally with the number of lines
For a certain winning category, does the probability of winning with one simple line grow proportionally as we raise the number of simple lines in the played system? I have been asking myself this question for some time and have argued with several experienced people. The complete answer can be found in the book The Mathematics of Lottery: Odds, Combinations, Systems, which I bought recently. In brief, the answer is that generally, it does not grow proportionally and depends on the structure of

$$ 4 winners out of 5 $$
Seeemill, it is a fascinating story about the Tibet Hors. However, I do not believe that they blindly played over 50 # selections per day. I'm sure they had a bonified money winning $trategy when selecting their # choices. Their is one very logical strategy, that is to delete the #s from the prior day. Their are only going to be so many repeats from the previous day. However again, some players only bet on #s from the previous day. I know their is a strategy to that method.
The odds are only

Powerball, Mega Millions explore agreement
I think combining the games would be a very bad thing for players, because it reduces the number of choices, and would make the odds of winning way too remote.
However, allowing states to sell both games would be awesome for players. Giving players four chances per week to win a big multi-state jackpot would be fantastic.
These talks are very encouraging, I hope they are successful.

Dont know if this is a good idea but surely is better than winning the lottery
This is good idea, but i dont think it will happen. You probably talking
about the same lottery as millionaire raffles. We could even make more
winners then just 10....like maybe 50 or 100? These are better odds then
playing lottery.Question is,how we will select winners.
