Help on new lottery system
Actually, there are 9,139 possible combinations of threes in 39 numbers and each combination of fives contains 10 combination of threes. There are 575,757 possible combinations of fives in 39 numbers and only one will contain all five winning numbers, however 170 of those combinations will have four of the winning numbers and 5,610 of them will have three of the winning numbers. When you divide 575,757 by 5,610 you get 102.6 which makes the odds off getting a match three 1:103. With 103 combi

Powerball now has the potential...
Powerball now has the potential to hit the massive jackpot amounts we once thought was possible. But I guess wait, they have that $25M increase rule so maybe not. This game has not sold more than $100M tickets in a single drawing since February or 2006. Almost three years now. The odds are almost 1 in 200,000,000. It would definetly seem possible for them to start hitting higher amounts more frequently even with the addition of Florida. We could see our first $400M jackpot soon. Brad

If they charge $3/ticket wouldnt it be the end of mankind as we know it
I had to look back at exactly what I'd written. I can see getting there from my bit about civilization continuing, but it's kind of implicit in any rational answer to the original question. It might seem like the end of the world to some people, but I feel fine. Since you brought up PB, I'll note that the new odds are working perfectly. It's rolled twice, which is my 2nd favorite outcome. My chance of winning may have gone down, but my chances to dream about a bigger jackpot have gone up acco

Scratch Off or Lotto Numbers?
I like both, but tend to be luckier with scratch offs...I just started with the lottery early last month...went and played by b-day and on the second day hit str8. In Dec. I had 5 P3 hits. I also started buying scratchers on a whim. I have won at least $600 (was not tracking much early on), with at least 4 $100 winners and a few $50, $25, $10, etc. I started playing only $10 tickets and was pretty lucky on them. Bought 2 GA 15th Anniversay ($20) and they were losers. Bought 2 $20 Millionaire

Do the Platinum Statistics allow you to sort by Ball Set & count Practice Draws?
You're right, a true 'perfect' system would find the hottest numbers, and then the numbers that were likely to appear with those numbers, and then create a three dimensional field with the strongest possible combinations suggested. Ok, and sure, maybe any improvement in your odds from anaylyzing the lottery is just your imagination, but maybe not. Let's say that by analyzing all that and coming up with what you think are good numbers you improve your chances by just 2% above everyone else.

Colorado Lottery investigates 21-time prize winner
He is my hero. Yes, able to play a lot at a time really helps with the odds in his favor. Playing this way or playing few numbers and hope for a win is still have the same goal. That is winning! He should go try larger games, move to New York city and play Mega Million, living it up enjoy life. To me, he is beyond class able to beat the system again and again.

Colorado Lottery investigates 21-time prize winner
This doesn't sound like any system to me. He is spending THOUSANDS of dollars playing the game! The odds are so much better in his favor... like throwing horseshoes in a field of pegs .. with thousands of horseshoes being tossed out there, there is a heck of alot more chances to land a win..even if they are 2nd tier prizes. Makes me wonder if the Colorado Lottery will increase their field of numbers. On a side note, How does he have the patience to hand fill all those tickets ?!?! Is there a

LottoSync v1.8 download
Xavier... The only thing I can say is that the methods behind LottoSync are far removed from what you assume they are. Problem is I can't repeat this forever and ever because it's eating away valuable time. If your personal results are temporarily less than stellar... simple streakyness is the cause... stick with LS and It will turn in your favor... I know from running many forecast tests (talking about thousands ran on a renderfarm) that missing out 4 times is absolutely normal

A comment on the new Powerball Expectation Values.
For the same reason that you wouldn't use the annuity value. The only point of calculating an expectation value is to make the risk to reward an objective quantity. The expectation value is only as realistic as the numbers you use to calculate it, so it has to be based on what you'll actually get and not some imaginary number. For odds of 1 in 195 million the expectation value isn't 1 unless the net is $195 million. Unless perhaps you actually want to share the prize with the government. Of c

18.4 MILLION Michigan Classic Lotto 47 Jackpot!!
Actually the cash option for a 30 year annuity is running about 65-70%. Interest rates are just that low. This game has been rolling forever. I think this game only gets won twice or three times a year. But the cash option should be more than the 1 in 10 million odds. Expected value of the ticket should be above 1 so its time to play. Brad
