College Student Who Just Got into Scratchers – Advice?
Try telling anyone who hasn't won a top prize on an instant that they aren't junk. Hey, maybe I think $2 cards aren't that bad because MOI won a top prize on one...helluva lot better than a $100 on a $5 card, which, btw I win enough $100's on so as it is...you know why? Because I play enough of them. They have as much filler as the $2 cards and if you don't like considering a FREE ticket a win, maybe the OP does or will. Personally, I don't. Funny the OP hasn't chimed in lately...may

Probability of winning with multiple tickets
Each ticket is up against the same odds. Take your theory to PB and MM level. Consider that for every drawing those who play do not realize they are all part of one humongous pool. We'll use odds of 300,000,000 to malt it easier. So if the first ticket is up against 300M and the next ticket is up against 150M, etc. somebody will have twin. Oh, wait, many drawings go by with no jackpot winners. Gee, how can that be because Tucker Black said..................,Go to the Florida lottery website and

Florida's Fantasy 5
Ahh sorry, I meant expected value, not earning potential. I must have been tired when I typed that up lol. Basically I meant F5 has the best ODDs for a Florida game. Fantasy 5 is generally considered the best bet among Florida draw games because it offers the most favorable overall odds of winning any prize. It has a smaller, more frequent jackpot and better overall odds of winning any prize (1 in 7.58).

The Hoosier Daily 3 is Rigged
If a person is truly poor , then the very last thing such person should be doing is playing (gambling) the lottery. In a Pick 3 game the odds are 1 in 1000. Compared to jackpot games that's good odds. But gambling money needed for food or bills is bad odds. Blaming the state and saying it's rigged is a poor excuse for losing.

Banana Peel Luck for Small Wins
Odds of what's happened so far 10/82.9 (10 tickets won 1 out of 82.9 odds) 10/1105 (10 tickets won 1 out of 1105 odds) 5/56.7 (5 tickets won 1 out of 56.7 odds) 8/1841 (10 tickets won 1 out of 1841) 5/56.7 (5 tickets won 1 out of 56.7 odds) odds of the above happening 1/(10/82.9*10/1105*5/56.7*10/1841*5/56.7) = 21,686,861.5 that's 1 in over 21 million.....so I am a very biased believer of banana peel luck (I call it that but I guess it's any peel would work),

163 M Powerball Drawing
at those odds i don't play when the cash value is less than 600 million. total waste of money. right now texas lotto jackpot cash value is 32 million and odds are like 1 in 25 million. you could buy 2 lotto texas tickets for the same price as one dumb powerball ticket and get way better odds of winning a similar sized cash jackpot. it's a no brainer.

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Hey Skeptic, yep, correcting for price, the $10 Madness is, hands down, the best for $500 among ANY FL scratch game. People often get confused on this subject...like I recall doing the Math for someone showing that, remaining prizes being equal, you'd have better odds hitting $1M by getting 2 old 500X $50 pink than 5 $20 Gold Rush Limited. So $10 Madness odds for $500 are 1/136, but $500 odds for, say, the new 500X are 1/46...Madness is of course 1/5th the price, so equalize divide the 136/5

On Average How Many People Play PB or MM In A Drawing
The reason I asked the above question is to be able to see how odds can be viewed. We are accustomed to the 1:292M or 1:300M odds of winning. One can see the magnitude if the odds are compared with people. For instance let's say in tonight's PB drawing, 35 million people played. So if you have a ticket you know that there are 34.999999 million people who have a ticket or tickets in their hands plus you.

$865 MILLION: Powerball jackpot reaching historic levels
I've been playing for 20 years! I'm happy if I just matched the 5 Mega ball with Mega Plier and go off into the sunset. For the life of me I don't understand why people will still play after winning $10 million or $100 million jackpots from the lottery. I know several people who won millions of dollars but they continue to play. Don't they know they beat tremendous odds. Hey but their stories of people who got struck by lightning twice in the same spot. I seen some crazy odds of like 1 in a tril
