One Big Ticket
The New Kidcon Lottery has introduced a really big game. Literally. It's measures 4 feet by 4 feet. It's the ScratchMatTM. On one side is a 4' x 4' scratch-off ticket. This is not the kind of ticket you play in one sitting, and even if you did, it would take you about an hour, says lottery director Sam Rawlings. On the other side is a special dry-erase board with clear pockets for numbers games. Players can write the winning numbers down with a dry-erase marker (included), put their ticket in

Blackjack
Interesting twist on things...... I was playing blackjack over at the Casino Hollywood (San Felipe Pueblo) the other day, 3rd base, full table, when the security and customer service people surrounded me in the middle of the hand. Wanted to see my ID and player card.I usually don't get a player card, but I recently had done so because these folks offer a free buffet and $10 in gasoline money every Monday for our senior citizens if they have a player card. I figured I might as well, and if I wa

Texas Pretest ?Question
HeHeHe Molly, you nailed it on the head, they are at the end of the balls and I still don't trust them. The reason they introduced so many pretests prior to the final draw is to mess up the people who use systems to track the numbers. You only have 30 min to an hour to run the pretest along with the actual drawings and get to the store in time if you think you have the winning combinations. And another thing, I don't think they need that many ball sets to rotate. Each ball in each set has it

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
Some additional comments against computer drawings:Lotteries exist to make money for politicians.Lottery directors are under constant pressure to increase profits. One way to increase profitsis to find ways to minimize prize pay outs. While not perfect, mechanical ball machines do provide random winning numbers that are acceptable to players. These machines can't be manipulated to provide predetermined winning combinations. The advent of computers has given lottery directors a behind the scene mea

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
You sound very inexperienced in the concept of reality.Saying that computers are undeniably more random than a real lottery ball drawing destroys any credibility you might have had. Even a Lottery Director in charge of a slew of computerized lottery games would not make such a preposterous claim.I supposed after 10 years that hard rubber lottery balls do get scuffed a little, but that's why they replace them. And any scuffing would appear on all the lottery balls, so the randomly quality of
