Human error caused expensive Va. Lottery mistake
Sorry, it should be 4+ million, I was thinking 77777, not 7777. It said 609 of them had the incorrect printing of the top prize instead of $2. Am guessing that the odds of $2 were supposed to be 1 in 4 or such, that's what normally they'd be on such a game. Every $4 out yields $2 in winnings, a 50% takeout ratio as usual. Even then if it's 4MILL that supports my point all the more...just pay it, avoid the bad publicity.
What would happen if the opposite happened, what if people thought they o

Why is keno so hard to win?
It's no doubt that Keno Jackpot odds are much better than 649 type games, here in ontario the odd table shows it for a 20/70 game = bottom of page

Pick-Quickpick Question
There is no requirement the lottery QP run through all the possible combinations before starting again.
The more QP's purchased, the better the odds one will win, but there is always the possibility of two or more jackpot winning QP's without all the possible combinations in the game being run through.
Is there a switch at the lottery director's disposal that could make this happen? Perhaps, but why would they ever want to use it?

And if your picks were always filtered out from winning, it wouldn't matter.
I define random as each number or digit having an equal chance of being drawn so that each combination (whether is was drawn the night before or never drawn) has an equal chance. Now if in fact your state lottery is filtering out some combinations, the drawing is not random so you should take that proof to whoever oversees your state lottery.
I'm not soliciting a lhuge government institution. Just one that veri

is it true...
KY Floyd - I agree with your post. I guess I just think that there should be a little more incentive in some states for the retailers if they sell a winner. I mean at the end of the day they're still making money, so they're still happy!
Actually when you think about it, in the states where they give a good payout, the retailers are in the best position to win something, cos every ticket they sell could win them cash! far better odds than someone buying 1 or 2!

A Federal Gaming Commission
Some public records like drivers licences are covered under the full faith and credit clause in Article IV of the U.S. Constitution; for instance a valid New York drivers license allows New York residences to legally drive in California. State licenses like hunting or fishing are not covered under Article IV because they are designed to do specific things within that state. A New York hunting or fishing license is not valid in California but a New Yorker can purchase a license in California to h

Why is keno so hard to win?
I have been primarily playing the NY Pick 10 Keno for many months now. Regardless of the stated odds, and few number of winners, I think for the difficulty, the Jackpot Prize ($500,000) is pretty good. I think it is the best game in NY. I used to think the NY Take 5 was the best, but the draws are as confounding as can be. I will win that one sooner or later regardless.
I use a number of strategies (I call my blend system) with my approach (and are always developing new ones) to this and all

A little page to help with manual 5/39 play...
When we use all 39 numbers, we always have a realistic chance of winning the jackpot, but at best only two of the combinations can win anything. If we play the same eight combinations every day, we should expect the return to be about the same as starting odds; we should expect to match 4 out of 5 once for every 3387 tickets we buy. There are number of other ways to arrange the eight combinations like using standard filters that when successful could slightly raise the overall win expectation.

Ohio Lottery website taking a survey of possible MM changes.
I did just notice this as well. I was going to post a topic but surprise there is already one here...haha. What I don't understand is the odds. They aren't changing the number of balls needed to win. Is that a typo or what? I mean they say the odd of winning will be down to 1 in 12, but how is that going to happen? Just by adding the 2+0 prize? All you get is your money back for that one. I don't like the annuity either...with a game like this just pay the $1,000,000 in cash.
