Curious about rules on selling lotto tickets
If you won the Lottery, I can see no reason why the retailer would not continue to sell you lottery tickets.
Even if they did, I am sure there are other retailers that would be happy to take your money.
If you were to hit a jackpot again, (odds are really against it) it would be better for the retailer as his/her establishment would go down as having mutilple winners, which in turn would in and of itself help sales.

Lottery scratch games still being sold after jackpots are gone
I rarely buy scratch tickets, but I always assumed people checked first, since the amount of top prizes available are listed, at least they are on the FL site. I don't even play them I check! LOL
I agree with GameGrl and would be very satisfied making $10,000 with a $20 investment. Sure people want a shot at the big prize, but with such high odds, I'm sure most people are just happy to get their money back!
I don't think the idea of cutting ticket prices in half would ever work. All the

I think Californians hate Super Lotto Plus
I think it has to do with the elected official of a state's Lottery Commission. They're usually Conservative Republicans and that's the problem!
In Texas, we have Lotto Texas and it moves at the same slow rate and has been mired in corruptions when these, forever-changing officials comes in and try to increase the odds to make it harder to win (and one the elected Republican offical actually said that !!) to ensure more profits.
When the citizens of Houston learn about the corruptions, Lot

Lottery scratch games still being sold after jackpots are gone
Michigan does have this situation too. They always sell tickets after the top prizes are claimed. But the odds of winning a top prize are so high I just usually buy them for a little entertainment and maybe and extra $20.
Ohio seems to have a good idea. Save a top prize drawing until the end of the game and then give it out. That way there still is a top prize and you can sell all the tickets. I mean it would really suck for a state to say for instance the 2 top prizes in a game to be in the

Poll: Would you play this?
Just how much do you think something like that would pay?
The number of total patterns is 2^N where N is the number of balls drawn. So for a pick 5 game there would be 2^5 or 32 different even and odd patterns
2^1 = 2 half even and half odd or
E
O
2^2 = 4 Half even and half odd or
E E
E O
O E
O O
2^3 = 8 or
E E E
E E O
E O E
E O O
O E E
O E O
O O E
O O O
you get the idea 2^4 =16 with 8 evens followed by 8 odds in the left column and then 2

Powerball Lotto in each state to start a bussiness to better the U.S Economy...
That's why i feel that each state must have a MegaMillion style lotto where the pre-requisite/stipulation to be a winners is that you must start a bussiness...Well maybe you can take 50,000 for you but the rest is to start a bussiness....And if you don't comply you go to jail or your prize is giving to another person...
Who would even play a mega million style game with mega millions odds for a chance to win $50,000 with the added headache of starting a small business that most people have

Ohio Classic Lotto 5/28
I played:02 04 06 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 21 22 24 25 27 29 32 33 34 39 40 42 43 44 45 47 49
The winning numbers were:08 14 17 21 28 43 and four of them were in my pool.
I matched 3 one time for $2 from $20, I give up.
The overall odds of winning anything are 1:53.6 so I guess I was lucky to win even $2.

Welcome to LP...I agree the odds are the same to me anyway.
If you've been playing religiously keep playing that way.I randomly play cash 5 in CT for the week via QP and 80 percent of the time I'll get 3 of 5.To me it's all about what you feel good about. One thing I'm slowly learning about gambling is always go with your gut.Particularly if you're a handicapper of a sort..
good luck getting your win....like the ct lottery logo goes you can't win if you don't play

Welcome to LP Matt!
I don't play Florida lottery so I don't have those games, but the most I have have won was about $25 dollars on Powerball. There is a poster here named justxploring who lives and plays in Florida and I believe she plays Fantasy 5 or something and has won a little bit of money playing.
I am also beginning to think that quick picks are the way to go with the larger jackpots. Since the odds are so huge, it seems that trying to find a system to crack Powerball and Mega Mill

I have always pplayed lotto, but recenlty my college roomate and i have been playing religiously. The scratch off tickets and florida lotto, and fantasy 5. Within the last month i have got 3 out of 6 (2), and 3 of 5 fantasy 5. I feel that this is kinda high, how often do you guys seem to hit half or more numbers. I only buy one quick pick per game, because i feel that the odds are all the same. Im new to this site and would like to talk to others about ways you guys play and thoughts... i wouldl
