Same Mega Ball three drawings in a row...
Everyone loves a conspiracy theory. A few of you are on to something, however. The odds of winning are 176 million to 1. Why would they need to track millions of plays when it's unlikely that anyone will hit it anyway? But trust me, the Lotteries WANT you to win. They don't get to keep the jackpot money - the only way they make money is by selling more tickets. When they have big winners, sales go up. They want to give it away. And the difference in draw times is related to different time zo

Same Mega Ball three drawings in a row...
I know, I wasn't literally asking what the odds were. But good to share I guess. The videos for the drawings are on the MM site. You can see the balls being mixed up in the drum/bin/whatever but they're already in there so there's no showing the balls before they're dropped (if they even do that) and when they're coming out they cut to a close up to where you can't really see the balls all that well, except for the ones coming out. Now seeing the PB results I see was th

Same Mega Ball three drawings in a row...
How come nobody is suing the state... Again what are the odds...That should never happen...It happened once now it happening again... Not only is it imposing its religion on people put it also manipulating what plays in the lottery... I just wish they continue to do it...

Old People Always Win
How young? I'm certainly not old yet being in my mid-20s... I think it's because most lottery players tend to be older and with the odds being so bad you could play from when you were 18 and play for 60 years, til the day you died and still not won anything. Brad Duke was 33 when he won apparently, not that young but he wasn't nearing retirement either, he seems to be doing well. If I win, I'd much rather do so now than in 35 years, if I'm still around. Only thing is when I win, there is

Minn. Lottery office hears from $180M Powerball winner
Dear Winner, PLEASE Stimulate the economy!!!! but please DON'T buy up all the gas and consider the Tesla electric sports car (only $100K) unless there's such thing as a Hybrid Hummer?? Cadillac makes a hybrid Escalade now. If I win the 1st thing I'd get is an electric or hybrid..and a home close to where everything is. Please save some gas so those of us who haven't won yet have a few dollars left after paying for gas to buy 1 or 2 Mega or PB tickets! I didn't even play the last drawing because

At what level to you start to play MM or PB?
Powerball did it with KY. Well, not in a row. Someone (different people) hit the powerball jackpot twice in Ky last year. Once in September and once in December. I thought the odds of one state hitting twice in a year would be pretty high. But it happened. Actually, I would be interested to see what Todd would have to say to your question. He's been doing this a lot longer than me., and knows the answer to that one.

Scientific Games wins Pennsylvania Lottery contract
Interesting article. Comes as no surprise that the cheapest would fair out in the PA Lottery. Let me rephrase that, perhaps not cheapest so much as most beneficial to upping the revenue retained and lessening the payouts to players by changing the provider and the game plans. Look for more numbers in Powerball and our good ole PA Match 6 and Cash 5 game. It will change and it wont be to keep current players but to thwart them away with the odds increasing. I can guarantee that the glitches in

Which game do you play most often?
I like to play scratchers a whole lot more than I do numbers games. I especially like to try out new scratchers when they come out. I only play Mega Millions if the jackpot gets $100 Million or more (like this Friday....which means I need to drag out my GA Lottery Player's Club coupon for Mega Millions BOGO (buy one-get one (quick pick) free)). I only play Cash 3, Cash 4, and Fantasy 5 when I get BOGO coupons from the GA Lottery. I only play Keno when I'm at a place that has that and I'm goi
