Better odds??
I didn't suggest that you, or anyone else, concentrates on smalljackpots. I simply pointed out that Even for fairly big jackpots, theprobability of multiple winners is fairly low, and that for smalljackpots the possibility of winning alarge jackpot is non-existent. Yourodds of winning depend entirely on the game odds and how many chances*you* have. How much you might win depends on th ejackpot and thechances of sharing it if you win. Even if there was a good chance ofsharing with another winn

South Georgia couple wins $270M Mega Millions lottery jackpot
The woman from Lowell, MA if that's who you mean, must be doing OK because there are no horror stories about her that I know of; I notice that grandparents have better odds of winning on low number sets on self-picks because they have enough grandkids with ages in that number range to use those numbers in a 5+1. It didn't say whether a birthday was thought of for the 10, just it was randomly chosen for October (wedding anniv.? maybe?) also notice they didn't need 115 tickets, only 2 (like when I

Which gives me a better chance of winning a lottery?
if the belief is every $100 spent reduces the odds by a power of 100 Nobody has ever said it works that way. The idea that it might workthat way is only the product of your imagination. Unfortunately, You either get it or you don't. It's obvious which group you're in.

Which gives me a better chance of winning a lottery?
Oh there propbably is, but for a really heated discussion go to a Christian discussion board and bring up: Predestination vs Free Will The Pope Mary Infant or adult baptism, or is baptism necessary? Tithing, and thithing based on gross or net! Why two creation stories in Genesis? There's many more, but that would trigger quite a number of threads and posts, believe me! _______________________________ Everyone, re: reduction of odds, try this. Just get a calculater,

Which gives me a better chance of winning a lottery?
You're missing my point. If the Jp was 1:10, and you bought one ticket, what would your odds be? There are still 9 combos that have the chance to come out. So now it's 1 in 8 for you to win. But i'm sure you'll say something like, now you only have a 50/50 chance or something...lol

Which gives me a better chance of winning a lottery?
There's nothing misleading about it. If there are 175,711,536 combinations, and you buy 100 tickets then it means you have 100 in 175,711,536 chances. You have bought 1 ticket for every 1,757,116 combinations. The more tickets you buy, the higher your personal odds of winning, but there is no absolute jackpot guarantee until you've bought every combo. And there is no guarantee you won't have to share it.

Florida's New Addition to its Lotto
There have been a couple of threads about this new feature. Florida made this decision last summer. The change was supposed to take effect this week, but they had some problems and now they plan to sell tickets in early March. I complained on one thread that I couldn't buy advanced tickets for a few weeks because they moved the date. I've been playing this game for 14 years and haven't won (not even 5/6) so I'm not about to spend another dollar, since it doesn't have any effect on the lower

5 + 0 out of 5 + 1
I actually had to check other . Since I play the California Super Lotto, getting 5+0 gets you nowhere near $200,000 Or even $100,000. I think that's unfair. For instance the JP is currently $80,000,000 but getting 5 numbers will only get you $18,000! So my missing out on that small amt wouldnt kill me. But I would probably rework my numbers knowing that chances are, it would be a lifetime when those numbers would come back around again with only the MEGA different. But I guess I would be happy w

Which gives me a better chance of winning a lottery?
How would there be more winners than there normallyare? You've said this on many occasions, but you've never explainedit. Please don't tell me that the theory says 1000 tickets(combinations)means your chances of winning are 2 to the 1000 times aslikely as with1 ticket, because I've told you about 30 times thatnobody says that'show it works. 10 tickets makes you 10 times as likelyto win, 1000 tickets makes you 1000 times as likely to win, and 1million tickets makes you 1 million times as likely to
