S, +1, +2 method inquiry
I have not heard of that system -- where did you see it? What is the system author's perspective as to why adding 1 and 2 to previous number could possibly help? To me, it seems like a numerology approach, which is fine if numerology is your thing, but I'm not sure I see logic in reducing odds by doing it.

Buyer's remorse
I checked that I don't feel remorse, but maybe I should have checked sometimes. Once in a while I run out at the last minute and get an extra ticket or I add a QP to my purchase. That's really the only time I say that was a waste of a buck. But I never feel that way when I lose with my regular or budgeted plays, because I already know the odds. I do agree that inflation has a lot to do with it too. If you drive only 30 miles each way to work and get 25mpg in the city, you are spendin

Poll: Michigan Mega Millions
With the in-state Michigan game rolling over for more than 6 months and not even reaching $20,000,000 , too much money is leaving Michigan through the multi-state game. Before Michigan got into the Mega Millions game it would take less than 10 draws to get the 6/xx Michigan games up to 20 Million. Since the Big Game/Mega Millions started, it has doubled the number of states that participate and skyrocketed the odds. Yes, the jackpots are bigger and they grow faster but with so many sta

Anybody Ever Win?
Not yet - but I'm trying! I play the pick-5 game in FL, but since I play Lotto too, I've often skipped a few days to save money. Sometimes I buy QPs and sometimes I play a combination I've picked. Had I played my numbers in March, I would have won about $100 getting 4 numbers, but the most I won in 2007 was $11 getting 3 numbers. I also got a few Free Ticket wins (2/5) It's easy to say if I had only.... but some nights I thought about changing my numbers by +1/-1 or +2/-2 and would have

For those geniuses using excel
The theory is relatively the same, create a spread of numbers which will make you close. In the pk 3 example we've constructed a manner which was definitive in some aspects, this month so far the results are the reverse of my expectations but I think the method is usable. As far as the larger, if you will, games, construction is a key along with your ability to form winners, it's a start. We've learned that on average two subcinct even or odd numbers are ,on average, coupled with one of eith

Why you should win more times.
Considering the odds if you had $40 bucks thats 80 chances at a 50 cent rate. Here you only win a 1.50 but even that is better than loss. Most average about thirty and when I see people buying the $10 and up scratch tickets, I wander how their brain must work! I just beleive if you take the 70% like one reply says assign a number to those nomatch combos, use your brains, that 60 block of decisions has to win more times than thirty or 15 ,as it seems , of your favorites. Try it, you have 11 col

Study ranks Missouri lottery as ninth best in U.S.
It was an elective class in statistics where the Professor set the guidelines based on his agenda. The students may have added some of their ideas because some of the categories were contradictory. They want a scanner at every lottery terminal so a player can check their tickets but deducted points for lotteries expenses. Every state where I've bought lottery tickets had 'how to play' pamphlets either next to the terminal or available and lotteries could print them bilingual. The class wants

Which Do You Prefer
Please explain. Do you mean because the jackpot doesn't increase after it hits $2 million or the odds? Last week when it reached $2 million I was thinking that each time it isn't hit and they don't increase the jackpot, it is such a rip-off. I know it rolls down, but so what? Is this what you mean? I did check FL MegaMoney only because I hate flies and I don't like being eaten alive by the mosquitos (the only reason the cold weather is nice!) However, maybe the mosquito and the FL Lotte
