A Question for EVERYONE
That's only because he thinks predicting the actual numbers is too difficult. He probably thinks if only the letters A,B,C,D and E were used, the odds of getting them right would be the same as matching all three numbers in a pick3 game. Since filtering combinations using those five letters could goes from A A A A A +A to E E E E E +D, there would be almost 1 million possible filters combinations for MegaMillons. That's easier to pick than 1:175M number combinations but still hard. Eve

PA Millionaire Raffle
Well PA is going to seem to sell out EXACTLY on time as usual. I gave in and got my ticket earlier today. They claim they sold over 75% so far. I hate spending that much for a ticket, but you can't beat those odds for a million. Last year I was very close to the million, but not close enough to make me go nuts. Hope to hit it dead on this time so I can start my new life and live off of the compound interest, and build up to several million eventually. See you at lottery headquarters!

Most lottery players never see big payoff
I figure there is chance I could win - After all I met my wife. Not sure what the odds are but - she was going to U of Iowa - home in Council Buffs IA for the week end. I was in Air Force in Omaha. I usually did not go to bars but that night I did. I asked her to Dance at the HEET lounge in Omaha and she said yes! And we have been married for 30 some years. When I think of the hours of the year - the chances we both were there - that the lightening DID strike at our hearts. Sure I will win

The Implications of Cracking the Code..
There's really no secret to picking the winning combination of any lottery game since they all have a fixed amount of possible outcomes and if you play them all you will win the game every time. Now days it's rare that a game top prize will pay more than it cost to buy all the possible combinations but once in a while a Pick5 jackpot will exceed the amount it cost to buy all the possible combinations. Years ago I read of investment syndicates that would buy all the possible combinations fo

Pick 3 Pirate - ready to download
I'm glad you understand the situation with the odds. With 220 possible combinations, removing 145 of those and working with 75 isn't too bad, really. Especially when the next winning draw is most likely in those 75. It's certainly a good start. I'm writing the Pick 4 program now. It will produce 100 singles, 100 doubles, and I don't know how many triples yet. That depends on where the triple digit show up most often. I may not even include a triple option or a double-double option, bein

Do you know someone who has won the MegaMillions / Powerball?
I was shocked recently to find out that a fairly good friend of mine has an uncle who hit the Mega Millions here in Ohio. It got me thinking about how low the odds are even to be acquainted with someone who has won. So I figured I'd spark a discussion about this; I'm assuming it's been done before and I apoligize if it's been overdone, but I'm curious to know. If you do know someone (or are akin to someone) who has won, give a little background on the story if you feel compelled to do so. I

How i feel:If Todd was to charge $1/month..
there maight be too many combinations like that but it is lowering people's odd drastically instead of going at it with the 3.5 million odd you face if you are expected to get the 5 balls witouth the bonus ball.... What sounds better to have your odds 1 in 27,000 or 1 in 3.5 million..Paramters prediction is a way to filter your predictions and to filter regular novice players numbers who do not know nothing about gambling... If there was a lottery channel in existence giving predictions t
