there is no secret code to winning pick 3 and 4 games. And people aren't giving up they will continue to try and beat the odds. No matter what it's 1 in 1000 pick 3 and 1 in 10,000 pick 4 In ball drawings you aren't trying to figure out 0-9 in one machine it's 3 machines 0-9 thats the equivalent to picking 3 balls out of 30 balls.

Well, my moniker is LuckyLilly. The tickets hadn't actually been issued yet. What I won was a voucher good toward 2 roundtrip tickets on a certain airline. Is it worth buying a large number of tickets once a year?
I wanted to ask all of you for your opinion, since I truly believe that the smartest and most talented lottery players browse through these forums ...... I was thinking of flying somewhere for vacation. I haven't bought any lottery tickets in almost a year, and I had considered buying a large number of tickets during a vacation once a year. BobP, That is alot of good information. I knew the odds were lessened but I didn't realize it was by that much! I have been trying to analyze the numbers as best I can based certain things. So far, I have been able to pick 4 out of 6 but just not in the right combination of the 18 I wheeled. Still won a 3 fer! It looks like tonight is going to be all quick pics since I haven't had the time to get my number hat on yet.

I don't know about other states, but there are no drawings on Sundays in Tx. There are 313 drawings a year for Pick 3, Daily 4, and Cash 5. Assuming a sum or number will hit once a year or so, I play Pick 3 that way. For example, the number 543 has hit 13 times in the evening draw, more than any other number. That figures to app 1 time a year on average since Pick 3 was started in Tx. I have started playing $1 every night on that number. If I hit once in 313 drawings, that's $313, but win $5
