Restaurant workers split $4 million lottery jackpot
I understand what you are writing, but one reason we see so many pools win is that the odds increase quite a bit when 16 or 20 people are buying tickets. If you have enough of your own money (or don't mind blowing it) to buy that many tickets, then maybe a pool isn't for you. I think it's great that all those people won and I agre with tntea it would be very exciting.
However, I also agree that I wouldn't want to split a jackpot 16 ways if I used my own numbers. I've been playing my own nu

Mich fantasy 5
Well i will post everyday so if and when hits do happen they will be there for all to see. Trying to use less #s so when all five are in the system the odds of a jackpot win are higher. Good luck to all.

Help!! Need winning lottery advice
If you noticed, caliGal only ever made one post and that was to start this thread so I doubt if it was ever true but rather just someone way of stimulating some discussion.
When someone asked the question What was the intent of the person giving away the tickets? it brought up a similar question about LP members who post predictions. Are they just having fun, testing a system or strategy or do they actually believe they're improving the odds of someone else winning some money? Which mak

Hot Lotto
Idaho just got Hot Lotto. Jackpot is a little over 4 million. I'm trying to decide whether to play. It draws the same nights as Powerball and WildCard. It's RNG but a previous thread (which is locked so I couldn't just reply to that one) mentioned its RNG is radioactive decay or something like that. The odds are better than Powerball.
So, make up my mind for me. Should I spend another $2 per week on Hot Lotto? Should I wait till the jackpot is higher? Or should I just forget about it

Hoosier Lotto
Haha you think out of the 1.5 million tickets (roughly 250k free plays were rewarded and the odds are about 1 in 7 to win a free play ticket, which equals 1.75 mil but we will say 1.5 million since there were so many low numbers) . about 350k of them are duplicated combinations ?? With that logic when these state lottos are hit there would be a lot more multiple winners in state lotteries. Listen this is probably a huge coincidence but the chances of this lotto having rolled 100 times is mind

Is Greed Good ??
Greed is the reason why there are no consistent winning systems. People don't want to put up a $500 to get back $1000 on Pick-3 or Pick-4 games and let's face it, to get the same odds on Pick-5s and Lotto games, it would cost more money than we have. And I guessing with all the what would you do if you hit the jackpot threads, they wouldn't be satisfied collecting $1000 for every $500 they bet.
I've read quite a few of the do something to the last draw systems but there is little or no f

Is Greed Good ??
For the most par lottery officials don't care about anything posted here. About the only exception is the occasional participation of a PB official who strongly believes annuity is the better choice. The lottery's interests in public opinion and marketing can be answered much more effectively by other means, and they have no interest in anyone's systems. The odds are in their favor and they will always come out ahead in the long run.
If you think you'd have family problems by sharing a system

Hoosier Lotto
Hoosier Lotto - $49 Million
Powerball - $15 Million
Next Drawing: 9/29/2007
The Hoosier Lotto may have one of the larger jackpot in the country as it continue to grow. I noticed even on the prediction board a hit is hard to come by. The overall odds of matching three or better are 1:50 and with over 100 predictions for the last two drawings no one even matched three.

Hoosier Lotto
It's unusual for a game having a cash value greater than the odds of winning it to go without a winner so long. Use to be system players and groups from around the world would look for such game to play. Until the win of a Virgina lottery by such a group some years ago, most states weren't aware they existed. After that many states came up with rules to make sure that never happened again. It must be working in Indiana.
I can't image that there aren't a lot of players from out of state
