when you follow that gut feeling.25,000 dollars
another thing happened at the race track this weekend......... apart from the details lol all I will say is that if you think a horse's name is particulary stupid..... and they are a long shot if the stupidness of it's name keeps glaring at you..... bet on the horse... seriously bet on that horse. horse's name was Cams Best Bet..... what a stupid name and the odds were 25 to 1.... that horse was so far ahead of the others coming around the stretch there was no way

Just curious, but does anybody know...
If I played 42 lines with all the powerballs, I would expect to do better than just the minimum $3 prize since the overall odds of winning a prize are 1:37. Playing that many lines and covering all the powerballs might make some feel more comfortable about gambling that much on a lottery but not me. The last time MegaMillions jackpot was over $200M, I played 60 lines and thought about playing all 46 megaballs for a guaranteed $2 prize but opted instead to play what I thought were the 15 most

Probability of subtracting the Midday from the Evening & winning?
What's the probability of subtracting the Midday from the Evening, or vice versa, and getting a hit? 3468 was the Mid. in Ga 9317 was the Eve. Is it likely or probable that 5849 could come? If so, what are the odds? Has anyone ever followed a v-trac or any other system regarding the possibilities? Just curious as to the thoughts of all the great minds here at LP. How to Beat Powerball: And drastically reduce the odds (theory)...
But you still need to decide what kind of a game you want to play, 3/2, 2/3, or whatever. TODAY, the odds still favor 2/3, but that may swing the other way for a few games now, for the next 3-4-5 drawings or so. Of course: I could be wrong.

Just curious, but does anybody know...
Enlighten us. I have my theories that will do that, but for some reason, to me, 42 to get 3 isn't good enough odds. Neither is 3 to get 7. My absolute limit is $10/drawing.

Why do people try to justify their desire to win the Lottery?
As long as we're discussing belief systems, what about life in general? I mean, isn't life itself a gamble? I mean, 2 people somehow met (by fate?) and then had sex. You are a result of that procreation...not later that evening or early the next morning. You aren't only the result of that moment in time, but there were millions of other little sperm buddies swimming around to knock you out of the race. Then each day you get out of bed and beat the odds so you're not one of the approxima

What Will You Give Back?
The mares cry and kick when their babies are torn away from them and they mourn for a long time. It's cruel. I didn't know that! That makes me sick. Wow. Animals are a lot of work, I agree. Of course, this is all just a dream. Have to win the jackpot first and you know the odds on that. For now, though,I will keep caring for whatever strays my way. That's how I've always gotten my pets.

Who wants to hear about the new PA 5/30?
The jackpot was a constant $200,000 and the prizes for 3 and 4 out of 5 varied. There was no payoff for 2 out of 5. The odds on a 5 / 30 game against hitting 5 for 5 are somewhere in the 40:000 : 1 range. Add 9 numbers and for a 5 / 39 game they are 575, 757 : 1.

Mega Winners In Lotto
Maybe I'm not understanding the question here, but how can any random game guarantee the number of winners? Sometimes there are no winners at all and sometimes there are more than 1. A raffle is different because it already is stating there will be XXX amount of winners. For example, last night 2 people won the Florida Lotto. Now, it's probably true that 2 QPS won because so many people played, but this could happen if the jackpot was only the minimum of $3 million. Also, someone else

How Long Will It Be Until We Have A Lotto Billionaire ?
I agree with Stack's post. But to respond to this comment - you might be correct about a large number of people who are only interested in the jackpot amount. However, when does next to impossible become impossible? As Stack pointed out, when there are so many people buying tickets, it only increase the chances that someone will win. So I don't think it will ever get to a billion. I guess I'm only being redudant by posting this, but I will never understand why someone would get much more ex
