What movies or TV shows have you seen about the lottery?
I think but i can't remember....But i think i saw an episode on the X Files, where there was a guy that was the luckiest person in the world, because he would beat any odds but he didn't know it...They thought he had alien qualities or Dna... that and lucky numbers which i didn't like...And My name is Earl part were he acquires the winning ticket but get hit by a car... More important than winning the states' lotteries is the movie Red Planet...

Focusing On Winning The Lottery Is A Fruitless Event
Basically what I am saying is people want different things. Don't you think I would love to have millions in the bank? Of course I would. You cannot define another persons reality. You're right, I can't in general, but I can define the odds. That reality exists no matter how many fingers, toes, and eyes you cross. That reality never changes.

If I reduce the MM or PB number pool by half and play 3o2e/3e2o...(?)
Unless the numbers you eliminate from consideration are less likely to be drawn for some reason, there's absolutley no advantage to eliminating them. That's the problem with a lot of systems. This is based off of eliminating numbers that most likely will NOT come up. Lets look at the last drawing of the MM. 17 25 36 40 43 + 09 I could eliminate *most* of those numbers from the next drawing unless one or more were considered hot or due. There is slim to NO chance of the s

If I reduce the MM or PB number pool by half and play 3o2e/3e2o...(?)
If you play only white balls for the first 5 in Mega, you are GUARANTEED that the winning #s will match that color. OK not to be a wise here but you're probably not improving your odds by picking odd/even. Your best solution is to find an algorithm that gives you the best #s and then wheel just those.

I have not been playing SC lottery
You do have to keep gambling in check. It can be addicting just as drugs and alchohol and before you know it, you are in bankruptcy court. If you have the means, set aside a certain amount each month, even if it is just $10. Use that money, and then stop for the month. 1000 to 1 and 10000 to 1 odds are not a way to keep a steady income. If you find yourself starting to exceed your budgeted amount, go talk to someone, friend, preacher, GA group, etc. You have to have discipline, and you have to

Dead_Aim's Plays P4
Thank you, I haven't played any of them yet, but the 8148 for GA midday was partly mirrored by the 6889 that came out. I find it very frustrating that of the 10-15 CASH 4 picks I make for the evening are always one digit shy for the past 5 days. I have to remember the CASH4 is 10 times more difficult than the CASH 3 (10,000 to 1 versus the 100 to 1 odds). An example, 1053 on 3/17. I had 1055, 1153, 4031, and 6310 in my 10 picks. Close but no cigar. I have yet to figure out how to get that last

Powerball won in Oregon.
For various reasons our memories can be very selective. Oregon had the PB record for about a year, and the big jackpots are easier to remember since there aren't as many of them. Pennsylvania has a population of about 12.5 million. The only other PB states with even half as many people are Indiana and North Carolina, and the latter has only been a PB state for a short time. If Pennsylvania didn't have a lot of winners it would be unusual (assuming that Pennsylvanians play at the same rate as pe

Powerball won in Oregon.
Floyd, I posted the same thing basically awhile back.. someone was talking about Idaho or Wyoming 'always winning, and I discussed the population of the state of Pennsylvania vs. those two states. I THINK PA had 4 winners in one year a few years ago... Where the winning lottery ticket was bought is as random as picking the numbers themselves - these things all go in cycles, they will rotate after awhile, they always do. Just ask Pennsylvania. Now, if the last 3-4 winners in a row came

I can't Beleive this!
On A GIVEN DRAWING, the chance of a triple Pick 3 is one in 100. The chance of a triple that drawing and the next is one in 10,000 (100x100). DIVIDE that by the number of drawings you are considering. In a year with 700 drawings the odds are 7/100 (700/10000) or just over 1 in 20 there is such an event during a given year of drawings. So expect it again roughly 5 presidential terms from now in that particular State, but with all the other States' drawings considered it should happen much sooner.
