Mix & Match the end?
...... just my 2 cents on this new game ... I have thrown in the towel myself on this game .. mix match. I was all excited about the game when I first read about it and that there was only going to be 19 numbers in the game. I quit playing last week .... $2.00 is too much for so little return ... I did hit 4 numbers once and of course got only $20 .... in my case I only have so many lottery dollars to spend per month and I still think the Match 6 game in PA is still the bargain game when

Playslip, accidently gets run more than 1X
A guy in Kansas played PB - same numbers 11 minutes apart in two different places, and he got the 5 WB's - twice because he had it on two tickets. What are the odds ? Not of just winning, but playing the same numbers twice by design ? How many folks would even think to do that ? I know some say they do because if they won the JP then they could take a lump sum with one ticket and the annuity with the other....

On the move
I agree with this statement. Of course 1 in 146M isn't the same as 1 in 74M, but tome it's like saying would you like to go to Pluto or Neptune today? I also agree with Coin Toss. When I lived in NH I was a few miles from the MA border and often played MA games. However, it really had nothing to do with the odds. I lived in MA most of my life and wanted to keep playing the same games. But it would be crazy for me to drive to GA or SC. Don't you think that if someone is going to s

Probabilty of Someone Winning a PB & MM Jackpot in the same Week!
And even if you had that one missing combination, too, that couldn't guarantee a win becayse you can never assume a solo winner. You're kind of contradicting your statement about cutting the odds in half with this post. Cheers.

$267 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot soars
Wow...at least $340 million on Tuesday! Probably more than that... a record? My office (in VA) had a pool and we had 147 tickets in last night's drawing. For the first time we had the mega ball plus three numbers for $150. I think we will reinvest since that only is a small amount fo each person. I looked up the odds on our winning combo....one in 13,781! And that gets you $150! What a game MegaMillions is! Still you never know... I live in MD, work in VA...i think i will buy some

Have u ever heard of anything crazy like this...
Luck sometimes does come in streaks, but typically by staying in the same game. I think you all know about the guy up here in MD. that hit a straight P4 one night for $5K then spent $100 on another single P4 the next day and hit it straight! Bada bing $500K! + the $4,900 from the night before. I get on losing streaks more often than winning streaks but when I hit heavy, I play a little heavier for a day or two to tempt fate on the perceived start of a streak. I seen people drop hundreds o

Play to lose!!
Different strokes for different folks. I have never heard of a lotto player making any sizeable profit off of prizes less than $10, because over time it always costs more than what you win. That's simple odds and mathematics. If you could consistently make a profit at a lower-tier prize level, which would mean that you can pick winning numbers consistently, then why wouldn't you turn your attention to the jackpot prize?

Biggest U.S Jackpots winners: Do you know them?
Guesser....don't care to know the names of the winners. However, would be very interested to hear of their experience once they won. Were the wins sizeable in that others would want to contact them for money/investments? Were people coming out of the woodwork? How much did it change their life from a day to day standpoint, i.e. did people come up to them and ask for money, did others expect them to pay for dinner all the time, etc. How long did it take for everythnig to return to normal?
