Pick5 & PIck6 How to win it..(Theory)..
Interesting post pumpi... I have been doing fairly well at getting 3 of the 5 on TN lotto... I am using the system that I posted on the pick 5 forum.. I put the numbers into groups... Which I now use the playslips from store to keep up with... First section: 1-13 Second section 14-26 Third section 27-39 Same as mentioned in post on pick 5 forum.. The o/e ratio is the key here... I mark each section on my playslips with a line separating the sections. 1-13

Gang 'used 007-style gadgets' to cheat casinos
A chef who turned high-tech poker cheat with an array of James Bond-style spy equipment to pocket an estimated 250,000 (US$491,000) was jailed for nine months today. Yau Yiv Lam, 45, and two other partners in crime, repeatedly preyed on casinos throughout London using miniature up-the-sleeve cameras and virtually invisible earpieces to reverse the odds and chalk up a string of spectacular wins. As he filmed cards dealt by the croupier, footage was beamed to an accomplice in a van equipp

Is There A Profitable Pick 3 Strategy?
WIN D That is correct. 100% of every occurrence when there were 5 doubles in a row in AZ, a single came out. Those are great odds. That msg you sent to me is absolutely correct from my software.

Is There A Profitable Pick 3 Strategy?
Your system is risky and not cost effective, and even if you win $37.50, wagering .25 box at a cost of $30, the profit is a mere $7.50.. If you are going to risk $30, the rewards should be much greater than $7.50. Furthermore, if you play 25/25, at a cost of $60, and do not hit straight, and only a box for $37.50, then you have lost $22.50.... So unless your 90% odds is for a straight hit, it is not worth the risk...JS1237.

Scratch-Off Payouts
I play in nj also, and sometimes I play scratch-offs. The most I won is 500 dollars and it was one my girlfriend gave me. That is a while back. Ironically I usually win on tickets that people give me and usually lose on ones I buy for myself or give others. I try to avoid them though because it's not clear what the odds are and they are not systemable. Remember the Lottery will gear it so that for every $2 you play they keep $1 of it (and if you win big, you ALSO pay taxes on YOUR half).. so

PLaying STATE lotteries Versus PowerBall/Mega Millions ?
Throw out 2 number groups, and lower your odds a lot. Sure, you still have to pick which 2 groups to throw out and hope none of the numbers in those groups hit, it's a crapshoot. I love it.

Won $7 in PB 1/10 (3+0)
Todd, I've been saying that for a year: why play a State Pick 5 for < $100,000 when the PB 'Pick 5' is $200,000 ? Sure, the odds are a lot better for a State Pick 5, but to me, 1 in 80 million (or whatever) is the same as 1 in 146 million. I just discount 2 number groups, take my chances, and see where things fall, and I have hit 9 4 of 5's in PB WB's...... but close isn't good enough. Maybe the 10th time is charm....... who knows.........

Am I missing something here...?!
calabs First, I believe that having more numbers in play out of the 10,000 does improve your odds of winning. But, were you thinking something like this about the doubles....? Picking 3 numbers is easier than picking 4 numbers, therefore it is easier to hit doubles than it is to hit singles.

PLaying STATE lotteries Versus PowerBall/Mega Millions ?
I like the strategy but it's hard enough trying to hit a 5 / 39 game where the oddds are 575, 757 :1. Trying to hit games with odds of multi-millions is still asking to 'get hit by lightning'. A lot of people here feel that if you're going to hit, you're going to hit, and that's all there is to it. Never ignore THE LUCK FACTOR.

Virginia Lottery adds Sunday drawings
I think she means the scratch-offs pay out better, which they do. And you are right, the only sure-fire way to increase sales is to raise payouts. It's been demonstrated time and time again. And about Cash 5, the reason the payouts seem so low in comparison to Pick 3/4 is because Cash 5 has more ways to win. With Cash 5, the prize pool has to be split amongst the 3 prize levels which subsequently reduces the odds-to-payout ratio. With Pick 3/4 on the other hand, there's only 1 prize to wi
