POLL: Would You Support A Nationwide Raffle?
Every $1 (or $2 with the multipliers) spent on MM or PB is for a chance of that $1 winning multi-millions.
Even is the raffle prize was multi-millioins the buy-in is way beyond a 5 + 1 game buy in.
Odd that you yourself said give me your dollar , not your $20.

Since there's a few threads about raffles...
Why do the lotteries that put on raffles have to lock up 50% of what comes in?
Why not 40% or 25%?
A 500,000 $20 a ticket raffle with 509 winners brings in $10,000,000 and pays out $5,000,000. It's pure gravy for the lottery. Keeping $4 million or $2.5 million isn't enough?
Any thoughts?

Florida Raffle Ticket $10 with 7 (700,000) Prizes
I will get atleast one of these.
Really not a bad deal at all, considering you get a free lotto ticket. The $20 raffle was a little much for me..
Good Luck Everyone!!

Florida Raffle Ticket $10 with 7 (700,000) Prizes
Update:
Took a quick break to run to gas station and the Raffle is only on ticket # 50,000+
Yesterdays tickets were around the 39,000 range early in the day. Im kinda surprised they havent sold more tickets than this. Only 10,000 tickets sold since yesterday. If they go at this rate I doubt they will sell out. Still time left though

Florida Raffle Ticket $10 with 7 (700,000) Prizes
Picked up some Lucky 7 Raffle tickets. Sitting at 39000 so we are nearing the halfway point to getting up to 100,000. I would have thought the first 100K would have been gone by now. I'll check again by Sunday, but I think flalottery was looking and hoping to get 150,000 per week if they are gonna sell out.
I still think they flooded the market a bit, although some people may still be getting their tax returns coming in through the 15th. It's just that they just came out with new games in Ja

Playing the Extra Dollar on the Jackpot Games
Thought I'd fire this topic up again ... yes, I like the multipliers also ... but when you go through 4 or 5 months of no hits then I begin to wonder if I would have been better off buying an extra ticket. I have been fine tuning my lottery strategy again. I've decided to hold at $100 a month (+ or-) in my lottery spending ... that's $1200 a year plus $40 on two $20 raffle tickets twice a year. However, I have changed my PB and MM playing ... I decided I would drop back from $10 a draw to $5 and

Florida Raffle Ticket $10 with 7 (700,000) Prizes
But you could buy 10 Fantasy Fives for the same price, reducing odds to 1:37,699.
Just sayin....
But good luck with the raffle. I probably wouldn't play if one came to my state - just because I usually spend a like 3 bucks a day on lottery nowadays, and wouldn't want to spend that much on one ticket.
