GA Eve-9/23 *Best Guess at 68 Boxed Singles"
Thanks Bryan and emily! :)
After two doubles in a row in GA's evening game, our odds favoring a single to fall tonight should improve somewhat.
I'll keep posting these whenever time allows, listing them within a new weekly thread. Look for that new thread to be up shortly.

PB winner....MM and PB in a race
It's not a race really, unless you mean a race to advertise a misleading value for the jackpot. The MM cash value is higher. Powerball's graduated annuity makes it seem even bigger than it really is.
It is still a slightly better bet to play Powerball, since Powerball gives you a little bit better odds of winning.
It happens every once in a while that the jackpot is a little lower than advertised. In this case it must have involved their rules about reserves. They had enough sale

Are their Parionoid playerd
Good Morning All.
I find this web site completely honest, I like that. But aren't you people bit paranoid. Being a new poster a lot of past history is lost, but if the lotto is to survive it needs to pay. Are any of the winner's connected? are the pay outs less then they should be? Is there any top end rake offs. If not the odds talk for them self. It's a game of chance that can be a lot of fun. The best is when you win.?????? Relax and enjoy.

probability types
I don't really expect the laws of probability to defy themselves at all, I just have a hope that someday certain such events will be discovered. So far, everything I have ever tested performs at a percentage which is extremely close to its true probability. When the probability is very low (higher odds) then measuring them for accuracy can and will takes many more future draws. The simply probability of a straight Pick 3 for example (.001), 1 in 1000 or .1% is difficult to measure even over 1

What was the deal with Powerball?
<<Saying the odds are the same that 7 and 8 will show up again twice in a row....does make it so. To be honest I get really ticked when people think we are stupid.....there are specific mathematical laws to randomness that will tell you that unless and external force is acting on this equation then you shouldn't be seeing what we are seeing.>>
It sounds like you've got no idea what random actually means. Randomness is the exact reason that we see a lot of the things that some

What was the deal with Powerball?
the odds do NOT change contingent on the previous drawing. Thus why its a random ball drawing.
The combinations are equal each drawing . The numbers have the same weight in being pulled.
Heck the number 7 could be pulled again and it doesnt make it any more statistically advantageous. Its the luck of the draw and nothing more.

To SirMetro
Delaware's (Multi-Win Lotto) odds are actually better because they only use 35 balls, however, the jackpot is seldom won because it starts at $50K, increases $2000 per draw, and draws 3 times per week. Its a bit of overkill, plus its a computerized game.
Now just to make matters interesting, when I picked up my tickets today in Dover, the clerk was talking to an apparent regular about the lack of sales for the Multi-Win Lotto and said that his understanding is that game will be replaced by th

Steve Player is back with a new system
When you consider systems generally cause people to buy more tickets and can be applied to games across the country the odds of someone winning big to brag about goes up with every sale.
I admit it is funny to watch system sellers try to explain why they are selling a system guaranteed to win the lottery or why you should throw your money at a system that hasn't won anything but minor prizes for them.
Then again I wonder how many system sellers hear from customers that won and start play

Is it Magic?
lol. Some of my relatives think I kid when I say I can predict the numbers and hit as often as I choose...so when I actually hit they are shocked at how I beat the odds. So naturally, they want a piece of the big pie as well LOL.
It blows when you lose a few bucks on a bet you had absolute confidence in...yet you always remember that last win you had, or even the ones before that...and you just want to feel it again, even if its just one more time, you win one more time and you want to keep
