Then - don't play those games !
It's that simple.
I don't like the odds vs. payback of several games, so I simply don't play those games.

Ga. maintenance man wins Mega Millions lottery jackpot
Exactly. It is not so much what you do, as what you tell everyone you will do. Jackpot paranoia is what feeds many of these so called professional leeches. Some are legitimate, but many look to capitalize off your big win. I would not say anything to anyone until the money was in my bank account. It is just sad that there are so many potential obstacles involved after beating such high odds. It is best to give very little or false information for your own protection at the press conference.

Some of you....
Your points are well noted.......what truly baffeles me is that my system works 'over a period of time' on every kind of random drawing I have tried....marbles 1-56, scraps of paper 1-56...etc......the exact same odds as the big game.......and again remember I am talking about the 2nd prize, that is 5 of 5.
And this is not just a random 50 or 55 set of numbers that I am waging on.....but there is a specific mathematical pattern that always, always repeats itself in MM, PB or my own test games

Maddogs Mega Millions Challenge 9/19
guesser,
I hope you relies that in a 5/56 game 1,249,500 of 3,819,816 combinations have 56 in them and the odds of matching it with 5 numbers are 1:3.
How does Xsmega contract you if 56 in one of the winning numbers? Or were you just kidding?

Against all Odds
Hi Clair,
I'm so high on your joy! Its so palpable even through cyberspace! I'm grateful you chose to share a piece of you, because now its mine and I can put that piece in my pocket whenever in life I need to beat the odds. Thank you.
If your charmed life is any evidence, and it IS charmed, I won't be surprised when you win the JACKPOT.
Blessings to you, your husband and that beautiful microcosm of perfection in the guise of your daughter.

location, location, location?
We have lots of customers who play only the Powerball and not take a stab at the lotto 5.
Lotto 5 has a smaller matrix and rolls over really fast. It is up to a half million for tonight. I dont understand why people go for the millions when the odds are so much greater...
I buy both for my father.. and lotto 5 for myself..
Good luck to all..

I am willing to pay...
Most lottery websites provide enough information that the number of losing tickets can be calculated, but that won't tell you the number of players that played and lost. The best information is going to be a guess because when 100 losing tickets are bought, there no way of telling if one or twenty players bought them.
The players who buy more tickets are likely to match the overall odds of winning the minimum prize but does spending $10 in a pick5 game or $50 in a jackpot game and winning

Some of you....
Yeah lottery officials are to blame but more to blame is whoever set the odds to be 146 million and something for powerball...I don't know if that was a lottery official job..But blame the lottery officials too because they were the ones to agree with all of it...
My statistics professor once told me that they have on the internet the numbers most commonly played for pick3 and pick4...
...Great ,you won the lottery but is only you right...

Fixed Lotteries
The reason that the winning numbers in a jackpot game will almost never produce 50 or 60 winners has nothing to do with drawings being rigged. It's all about probability. The odds against a 2nd place win in PB are about 3.5 million to one. For MM they're almost 4 million to one. The numbers that people play certainly aren't completely random, but as a ballpark figure there would have to be about 175 million tickets sold for 50 2nd place PB winners to be at all likely. So far, PB has never sold

Math and Lotteries
I don't think ideas supported with math/statistical data are harder to describe but they can be more easily scrutinized so they may require a little more thought by their posters.
Some posters enjoy posting ideas off the top of their heads and suggesting others try them to
see what happens which works fine for games like pick3 since the odds of getting a hit are
better than those of other lottery games and the ideas are usually within most players budget.
Many find these types of posts e
