Scratchers - counter or vending machine?
Georgia has a sleek new vending machine. I tried it out recently and didn't win anything, but I'm sure that the odds are still the same whether we use a vending machine or not. The only difference is when we use the clerk's knowledge of what has and hasn't hit recently. DD

What's up with THIS ?
Yes, but this is not the same. The above is boxed and merely on the same day. Now....if they were both 3457 and the next day they were (for example) both 8492, and two days in a row they would be straight in the same midday games, and the same states, then we would be talking about what I started this subject about. I'm talking about the same two states in the same game (midday or evening) having the same straight draws (not boxed) for two days in a row. While anything is possible in the shor

How digits are distributed in the old system 1-27 Sums Chart
Win d, as you know I have been suggesting this chart and posted it many times in the forums and my Blog. If someone can pick the correct Short Sum the odds are 1 in 10. I like it much better than the Root Sums. There are 9 Root Sums (if you don't count 000), six of them are 24 numbers and three are 25 numbers. Of course, the Short Sums are 10 columns of 22 numbers, so they are equal. If one tracks the Short Sums for a particular draw, they can often see a pattern and catch the win. This

What's up with THIS ?
Badger, Just got back from checking for it and couldn't find it. I must have the combination mixed up or it happened before 1998. Either way the situation happened and as you say the odds would be significant of that happening.

Posting lottery theories
I'm sure lottery officials use the LP website as one of many sources to see what lottery players are thinking and noticing about their games. When the PB game had all those 5/5+0 winners, lottery officials traced the source of those numbers to the factory that made the fortune cookies with the winning numbers, so if some one noticed a flaw in any game that would give players an edge and post it, that flaw would be corrected right away. So far I haven't read any posts that would concern any lot

Odds 101
I don't think so, unless you're letting yourself get convinced of things like a flip of a coin resulting in odds being 1 in 1 on heads. I'd say those who truly believe that playing an additional ticket vcuts the odds in half are more likely to be accussed of the blind leading the blind (which is what triggered this thread to begin with). Yup. Probably wouldn't anyway. I'm betting the odds. On the other hand, I figure the company will be better where I am if I lose the toss. J

OHIO Nails The Strings Test!!
Just let me inject something here....as everyone knows, a wheel is a good as the numbers put into it. Chosing the right numbers for ANY wheel is the challenge. In defense of Gail Howard's wheels, I have been using her 3if4 wheel with very good success. There have been several times where I have gotten 4 numbers in the wheel and still trapped the numbers for the 4 number prize. In NJ, the payout for 4 numbers is pretty good, usually over $500. I play my wheel when I think the numbers are due

KY FLOYD Listen to Stack47 Also, consider the payout - the average $5000 straight payout for a Pick 4 is nowehre near the 9999 odds against. So if you were crazy enough to play 9999 straight tickets and had only one possible loser, even if you won you're still taking it in the shorts to the tune of 9999 minus 5000.So you win and the lottery makes $4999 off of you.
