MM's low sales
I doubt the string of low jackpots could have anything to do with it. I'm only wondering when they can fix the game so it can generate the jackpots we were told we'd have when it came to this state. It was advertised that jackpots of $400 million was possible. When it was sold to CA that number was even higher. While Elvis getting out of a UFO on the White House lawn is a possiblity, I hope that's not the kind of odds they were looking at when they made the sales pitch.

Poll - PB & MM vs a National Lottery
As long as these games are local gambling schemes agreed on by a few participating states, the Federal government shouldn't require every state to join one, they aren't that important to the national interest. Beside these games are producing winnable jackpots of $12M to $300M+ which is plenty for the average gambling addicts. RJOh First I voted YES but I do agree with RJOh on the point he makes above. I guess I was only thinking how FL doesn't have either PB or MM and it would give

Controlled number grouping.
Hi GASMETERGUY, Thank you for the reply. Yes, your correct, but I would like to try to get pass this first stepping stone of pick 3 singles first to see if the method could be profitable. With a 1 in 3 chance of a hit odds are better and more controlled for selection. pcnut

A 'risk-free' lottery
Thank you very much goldrush, you indeed gave me gold. Of course that bonds lottery can always be bettered. There are ways to make the Perfect one...I think what counts is the percentage of winners compared to losers... When you say: Risk-free lottery, you mean Interest free kind of risk or an easy lottery, with no tax, very low odds, etc? I don't get that part.. ...Oh Stanley: good Job.. .... from movie Swordfish ...

Roulette
I don't agree. I think it has very good odds in your favor if you use the right tools. In a few days I will be ordering a system that is supposed to give you 4 chances to win and have a 63% chance at each of the 4 attempts to make a profit. As long as you win at anytime during those 4 chances, you make a profit. The quote below is from the sales letter. This is not my business. I own several businesses, including publishing, manufacturing, importing and exporting. Betting systems are

The Odds Are The Reality
So what are the odds of hitting a Powerball pick 5 versus a Powerball JACKPOT ? As I said in my original post, I'm not aiming for a Jackpot, I'm aiming purely for a pick 5, and if I happen to pick the powerball as well, that's fine also.

The Odds Are The Reality
dvdiva For you to post what you did in the OP and then talk about people not getting the odds is really a bit much - quite entertaining though. Yeah, why bother explaining it indeed. Buono fortuna with your power of ten.

Oregon Lucky Lines
To win $500.00 bucks, you have to beat odds that are over 5000 to 1. I'd rather just play the p-3....LOL Unless you're playing for the jackpot, it's not worth playing for lower tiers.
