New Tennessee Cash game - What's the Verdict?
it does not go up fast
its a total ripoff, i seen our old pack 5 go up MUCH faster then this higher old, bs game
hell our old pack 5 game, had jackpots over 1 million before even, thro rare, this thing never been higher then the current 5400
it only goes up about 20k each draw, and sense it takes forever to get a higher
it now went up 50k, then 40k, they don't invest much of the ticket sales into the jackpot AT ALL
here a time thing to make it clear, we tn jsut got sold

S.C. Lottery crowns 2 millionaires in raffle draw
Yeah, they the first annual raffle in 07.
Had the next one in 08.
They don't believe in holding annual events on a yearly basis though.
So we don't know for sure exactly when the next one will be.

How much have you spent on a single draw?
for the big games my usual is $7 (sometimes $9) per draw. When it gets really high (over $100M after taxes), I've been known to double or triple it, depending on my mood.
I also will play the raffle style game $20 tickets that happen a couple of times a year. BUT... I think I've learned my lesson with that one, the last one we had (in july i think) it was 'extended' cause they hadnt sold all the tickets the hoped to (supposedly). I had bought our tickets (2 i believe) during the original time

stupid lottery questions.
Re 1 above, A promoter in our area once did a project for a bank to generate new accounts. Someone was going to win an authentic Winchester 97 via a raffle of all those who had opened an account.
The promotion went over exceptionally well and about a year later he contacted the same bank and said he had a new idea for them.
He said that at that point the bankers told him that they didn't want that much new money coming in because after a bank hits a certain threshhold of actual cash on han

Raffles, IL halloween coming up. Is it better to buy like 10 at a time once a week or one a day?
Pure luck.
I bought a ticket for the first Illinois raffle and when the results came in my one number was over 1500 numbers away up or down from the winners.
Considering that, I don't see any advantage in buying a block of numbers.

Do You Ever Exceed Your Lottery Budget?
I don't have a lot of discretionary income, so I decided that lottery is my entertainment. Reasonable entertainment for someone of my income level would be a movie every week, so I base my budget on what I would spend for a movie and snacks. I usually spend around $15 a week, never more than $20 on my entertainment budget.
The only time I don't stick to it is when there's a raffle, then I exceed my budget by $10 a couple times. But that's no problem, I just cut back on the dog's food for a fe

New Michigan 50/50 Game
Don't know how much the tickets are but the next raffle will be Sept 7 - Sept 27 with drawing on 28th.
Lottery gets half and winner gets half.
Since it is 50/50 probably unlimited tickets.

Random Observations & Things To Ponder
Yup, got the idea, GiveFive and your post was blatantly honest and unfortunately described the plight of most working Americans.
////////////////////////////
Something to ponder:
Players who would never play a quick pick are often the same ones that can't wait to buy raffle tickets.

You are not nuts; you are absolutely right!
The only way to garner an edge in lottery play, is with FOUL PLAY!
Maybe you will be the first person to understand and reply to my comment on the Millionaire Raffle ADM.
