I will make a change if Raven does not mind too much: Even Consecutive Numbers (02-24-46-68-80) 5 Odd Consecutive Numbers (13-35-57-79-91) 5 Now they are as they should be 5 Evens and 5 Odds.

Probability of a MegaMillions rollover.
Anyone would be happy with any kind of jackpot win, except maybe CashOnly. Anyway, it didn't happen that MM exceeded PB this time around, but if neither jackpot is won, MM will pass PB in cash value within a few draws, I think. The PB is still a better bet than MM, since the odds of winning PB are much better than winning MM. In order for the bets to be equivalent, MM must exceed PB by about 20% in cash value.

New Jersey~ May1st thru May7th
sorry for the late responses,....been out enjoying the sunny weather!! Congrats to all the winners midday! I'm curious.....it looks like a lot of folks have been starting to play a ton of numbers. Is this a new system? take evening draw...if my calcs are correct, JD is playing a total of 608 combos....MD had 414 combos, and Raven has 600 combos. So the odds of hitting at least a box are pretty good! Is that the whole idea????? Can someone please explain? Thanks!

Tonight's winning numbers will involve...
Shane3, If all the winning numbers are in your number pool, your odds of winning the jackpot is 1:1848. Players in the Maddog challenges have been trying to do the same thing with a pool of 15 numbers and 5 bonus numbers for both PowerBall and MegaMillions and their best coverage so far is 4+1 and nobody has put them all together on one ticket. Good luck to you.

illegal immigrants poll
If Immigrants play lottery or not doesn't make any diference in your ODDS to win so what's the BIG Deal, let those people play and take their chances , any way play lottery is a way of paying taxes voluntarily, so whats the BIG DEAL let's stop this racism and discrimination or that will make you a criminal also because discrimination and racism is ILEGAL .

New Jackpot Idea - The Rollover Ball
I don't like it. It's just another way of raising the odds. They are already too long, in my view. It's such a bad idea, that I'm sure it will be adopted.

My Lotto Texas 6/54 #s (4/26)
Thanks, Just6! I think that now $30M or so would be enough for Lotto TX to attract additional jackpot game players since the format is being changed from [5/44+1/44] to [6/54]. 15 numbers cover 5,005 tickets. Therefore, assuming that one actually plays 10 tickets out of those 15 numbers and, further, all 6 winning numbers hopefully fall within the 15- number set, the odds of (those 10 tickets) hitting the jackpot is still 1 in 500.

Do all lottery winners end up being...
a good response to the topic start, is how many lottery players end up rich and miserable? how many end up rich at all? the odds are against u ever winning, but if u do it looks like there are prob only 20% or so that end up wishing they had never won. buying the old slum i used to live in, if i ever win , if ever i feel misserable, emptying out my wallet, and staying there for a week would clear my soul.

Tn tea keno
Jack, you hit the nail right on the head with "luck and coincidence". Hitting any game in the lottery is 99% luck and coincidence, especially with the tougher jackpot odds. All we can do to help is pick the right numbers and let "L. & C." do the rest. I only got into the bigger games to see what difference there might be in using random picks from 60% of the number pool as opposed to a wheeling approach. It's still an experiment in progress but I'm not seeing too much of a difference. G
