Current Jackpot Runs #2
Euromillions won't hit 300 due to the 12 rollover rule but still has the record for the largest jackpot. Euromillions just has a cash jackpot that's tax-free. Even not factoring tax in it has a higher jackpot but the odds are far lower.
I doubt Euromillions will even break 100 million pounds for the rest of the year. My bet would be on Powerball but not in this current run. Nothing is going to break 300 on this run. Mega may have to wait for 2007 to break 300.

why play the pick 4?
To get rich beyond your wildest dream
Yep, that's why many people only play Power Ball and Mega Millions when the jackpot is over 100 million. And they bet the longshots at the horse and dog tracks even though they knew the favorite would win.
Why waste your money on the pick 3 and 4 when for a buck we all can take a chance of changing our lives. Who cares that the odds are 175 million to one?

Bonus ball bounced by Lotto Texas
Come Sunday, Lotto Texas players won't have the bonus ball to kick around anymore.
When Saturday night's drawing for Lotto's $32 million jackpot is over, the Texas Lottery Commission will reintroduce the version of the game it abandoned in October 2003. The move came after players sent a clear signal that they do not like having to match the number on that extra ball for a chance to win the grand prize.
How clear was the signal?
Lotto ticket sales plummeted by 30 percent after the bon

It makes you wonder!
Like the fortune cookie incident there could be an event that cause a lot of people to play the same winning numbers, but there would be a lot of unhappy winners. RJOh
I don't think I'm a selfish person, but I have to agree with RJOh here. If I finally won a jackpot after years and years of playing, I'd be very upset to learn I had to share it with 50 other players since the odds of winning it a second time are very, very slim. However, if a jackpot is over $100M, I think it would be nice i

It makes you wonder!
It depends on the number of tickets SOLD FOR THAT DRAWING minus takeout and minus Powerplays, not the number of players or the current jackpot. Notice how much the jackpot rolls over, normally maybe 20 million initially, which means (ignoring PowerPlay) 40 million tickets sold each drawing. A 200 Mill jackpot doesn't mean 200 million tickets in play! Odds are flirting with 200 million to 1, so that means each drawing about a 5-1 to 10-1 chance of a winner. Michigan Post 4/17-4/23
I'm with Rob today on the odds. And with Sandy on a series.
But,,,,, the last 2 triples had the number 120(even series) the draw before
they fell. And I do think a triple very soon. I dont have access
to go further back than this year(I know, go gold).

Big Florida Lotto prize whips up ticket frenzy
"The odds are low, but if you want to get struck by lightning, you got to step into the rain. Can't win if you don't play," said Moonie, a tobacco vendor who visits convenience stores across the county every day and sees residents lined up to buy Lotto tickets.
He said he plans to invest $5 tonight.
I love this quote lol

13 State Employees to Share $224 Million Powerball Lottery Jackpot
Todd,
I really have to take exception with you characterizing what happened last year with Powerball as a phenomena. I looked at the Powerball website and the reality is this:
In the calandar year of 2005 the jackpot was hit 14 times. (NOTE: That is calandar year and not Powerball fiscal year.)
In the calandar year of 2004 the jackpot was hit 11 times.
In the calandar year of 2003 the jackpot was hit 12 times.
(And please note that due to split jackpots the actual number of winn
