Is the Lottery (PB/MM) corrupt?
Since I've been such a vocal critic of the Hoosier Lottery I'll state for the record that while I absolutely believe the Hoosier Lottery is rigged (and I too have stopped playing all of their games) I absolutely believe that Powerball is on the up and up. I still play Powerball in Indiana because it is not under the control of the Hoosier Lottery. I do have some issues with Powerball...mostly their ridiculous odds, their back loaded annuity and the phony way they advertise jackpot values...but

gravity machine or computer??
I think the bias against computer (RNG or Random Numeber Generator) drawings has more to do with it having a greater potential for abuse on the part of the lottery commission/workers/government. THey can tinker with it, after all; it's all software and computers. Additionally, RNG drawings are not televised. (what's to televise?) People like to see the mechanical machines spitting out the ping pong balls, although I have no doubt that can also be tinkered with on the part of the PTB. Personal

HHH .... expected hit rate is ........approx ....every 16 draws. If it's only 14 skips out ..... well.... not a bigi deal. Yet. The Key Three digits are ...... 9,,,,8,,,7 The odds that the next draw will contain at least one of these digits is very high.

Euro Millions Lottery Sparks Buying Frenzy With $224 Million Top Prize
Lottery tickets that are administered in the US carry a federal tax. there is no getting around that whether you are a citizen or not. They have higher taxes imposed for foreigners making claims on state and multi state lottery wins. If memory serves correctly, the euromilllion will only roll so many times before it devies out the pot to lower ticket prize levels if the major pot isnt won. I beleive this is the last play before that occurs. I like that the *odds * are far lower then megamilli

Ohio LOP-end of game?
CASH Only: Seriously, OH is not gonna get rid of the game anytime soon, especially not since one person complains about it. They know that they cannot please everyone. They just try to please as many people as they can. Even though the payouts are low, OH makes a lot off of this game. In fact, the lower the payouts, the more OH is making off of ticket sales for the game. Payouts don't mean anything in terms of ticket sales, especially since the lower prizes are fixed amounts. The payout

Is any State Run Lottery Honest?
Define honesty. It is like glazed or stained glass, every one sees a different illusion. I don't think any lottery is blatantly corrupt. They may not be what you would like it to be, but they are not corrupt. They are a business. Their annual goal is to make a profit. To do that, they must convince both the stupid and the illusioned intelliect to spend money on something they should know they have horrible odds of winning. If they were corrupt, people would not be standing in line to spen

Hoosier Lottery Payouts
Hi everyone. Did everyone see yesterdays Hoosier Lottery payouts? They were big. Powerplayer is right, after looking at these payouts I have no reason to complain. Actually, I think more people on Lottery Post won in Indiana than did the people playing in Indiana. The Hoosier Lottery is the only complaint I have---no problem with other State Lotteries. By the way, I am glad you are winning here in Indiana powerplayer. Maybe you should start a business giving us winning numbers to play. We sure n

Tennessee Woman Sues Over "Test" Numbers
Well for one... this women needs to get a life and learn how to play PB. I would never rely on a voicemail with the winning numbers. I watch it on TV and then check the internet for the results. Even after doing all that if I thought I had the winning ticket I would then doulbe check the next day in the paper just to make sure.Last but, not least anyone hearing the recording of 1,2,3,4,5,6 should know those are not the winning numbers. If I'm reading this right that is what she thought the numbe

One Digit Up - One Digit Down
It may be necessary to track your States Lottery to find the Delta between Draws which may work better than the +1 / -1 suggested.2006/01/01;977;O;O;O;H;H;H;-2;+1;-1;2006/01/02;423;E;E;O;L;L;L;-5;-5;-4;2006/01/03;512;O;O;E;H;L;L;+1;-1;-1;2006/01/04;057;E;O;O;L;H;H;-5;+4;+5;2006/01/05;683;E;E;O;H;H;L;-4;+3;-4;2006/01/06;236;E;O;E;L;L;H;-4;-5;+3;2006/01/07;129;O;E;O;L;L;H;-1;-1;+3;2006/01/08;485;E;E;O;L;H;H;+3;-4;-4;2006/01/09;754;O;O;E;H;H;L;+3;-3;-1;2006/01/10;129;O;E;O;L;L;H;+4;-3;+5;2006/01/11
