I said we can get are 2:1, but to do that the five numbers must be on five of the 15 lines. It's 10 lines with no matches to 5 lines with one match or 2 to 1 odds. The bonus ball must match one of the five lines and again it's 10 chances to not match compared to 5 chances to match or 2 to 1 odds. I suppose it could be 4 to 1 odds.

BTW in Germany the odds are horrible the 6/49 has odds of 1: 140 000 000, and it's usually just somewhere between 3 and 20 mil . The odds of a 6/49 game in the US are the same and so are the jackpots but payouts will never be larger than sales can generate regardless of what players want. Canada has a 6/49 game with bigger jackpots but it's ticket prices are higher. Most those doing the complaining in the US don't even play.

Right, the odds per number played are known. But I was referring to somebody's system. If playing one pick3 has odds of 1:1000 of hitting then s system playing 15 pick3 have odds of 15:1000 of hitting, what's so hard to figure about that?

I'm not an expert on odds, but I'm going to guess it's 1 in 3 million. It's still awful odds, it's hard enough to guess 3 on Pick3 Exact, with odds of 1 in 1000 Hopefully the experts will answer soon.

I have been buying lottery scratchers for a long time. I buy them once a week when I go shopping. I have noticed for the past few months that I seem to get less and less winning tickets. I don't mean big winning tickets, just regular wins of $10 or $20 dollars. I used to get them quite often but lately nothing. So,I have decided to lay off buying lottery scratchers for awhile. Combination 269 (under column A) fell as 296 tonight and I won. In an earlier post, I mentioned to Picktowin that one should consider non high odds sums as well as high odds sums. Although more high odds sums are winners in the above chart, non high odd sums eventually show up, which is why I add a few in my selections.

Players like St. Pierre are probably using money management strategies and getting at least $50 to $1 payoff odds when they hit. The other day someone showed a pick-3 playing 20 lines all boxed and said it consistently had hits. Doing the math, the payoff odds are just slightly over $3 to $1 making consistent wins a necessity just to break even. I'm not knocking finding methods that consistently produce hits but at best getting $4 to $1 payoff odds is not quality wins.

Interesting way to hit $1000. Congrats! I think you'll be good for a while. I saw the new tickets came out today. GA Lottery's site is having issues right now, so I can't see all the detailed odds for each game. The Odds on Hit $500 look awful, but the odds on Cadillac Riches don't look too bad. Not the best month for releases thats for sure, but hopefully I'll have some luck on them.
