OHIO: expect new Lotto by early 2004
CASHonly,I've seen your post, but haven't read any news locally to support your prediction. The lottery commission did have a survey with 3K replies, but they never posted any follow-up. They have been giving a free QP with $5 Buckeye5 play, a free QP with a match3 in the 649P game and a raffel ticket for a trip to an all star game in Chicago with $5 Megamillions tickets. For now it looks like they are going with these cheap kinds of promotions to increase ticket sales.I don't send in my raff

The USA's 'luckiest' lottery players may not be as lucky as they seem
On, Dec. 29, 2016, Clarance Jones did something that most Americans could scarcely imagine: He cashed-in 20 winning scratch-off tickets, collectively worth $21,000, one after the other. For the average lottery player, that would be the ultimate payday. For Jones, it was practically routine. In the past six years, the 79-year-old from Lynn, Mass., has won more than 7,300 lottery tickets, totaling $10.8 million. That establishes him, by far, as the luckiest lottery player in America. But

NJ Lottery investigating retailer lottery ticket 'discounting' practices
Some people seem to have all the luck. And in New Jersey, some of the luckiest people are retailers who sell lottery tickets. Or so it appears from the New Jersey Lottery's list of winners. An Asbury Park Press review of Lottery claims submitted since 2009 found that half of the 20 most frequent prizewinners are either licensed lottery retailers or family members of store operators. As a group, those 10 people collected 840 prizes totaling almost $1.8 million, the Press found. About 70

Some lottery winning streaks have defied belief
The Brudnicks may be one of the luckiest families in Massachusetts. In just the last couple of years, Chelsea insurance agent Robert Brudnick has cashed in 140 winning Massachusetts lottery tickets worth at least $1,000 each. His 25-year-old daughter Ashley has racked up another 100 wins. And his 23-year-old son Nathan, has turned in 99 more. The total take: More than $440,000, mostly from scratch tickets. But state lottery officials and statisticians say they doubt any family could be tha
