What is the Average 3-pick Lotto Budget?
more than 150$ a week. try to whittle the odds down from 1 in 1000 to 1 in 55. i look at the due digit and cover it, all combinations. the due digit has to be out at least 11 draws before i decide to play it. as i stated in previous threads, 1 digit won't go more than 20 draws without showing unless it's a midday and eve. starting with 25 cents then increasing the bet until it hits. you might say it's a form of chasing, but it's guarenteed to come in. out of the 55 numbers, some i put less money

Are Secrets Really Worth Keeping?
I was using a modified version on the Martengale system a while back when I was into sports betting, (Martengale +1) in effect adding 1 more dollar to each bet to recoup my losses and make $1 profit. Then I hit a bad streak, I chased one 7 deep, I was betting $512 to make $1 profit, and guess what? I got that one wrong too!!! even though the odds told me that it was 98.5% in my favor not to get 7 in a row wrong.....it can, (and eventually will) happen! That year I ended up with a 64% winning r

Blackjack and auto-shufflers
If you happen to be an excellent casino blackjack player, but hate autoshufflers (as I did until a few days ago) I'd like to share something with you that will help you make them wish they'd never installed the damned things. It takes advantage of the 51:49 odds in favor of the house, the fact that those autoshufflers give the most thorough mechanical shuffle possible by the time they've been at it for a few hours, and the fact the machines are mostly on minimum limit tables. It's got me playin

For $2 a day I assure on 2/15/06 PK3 Win
Had alot of time today at my pathetically monotomous job to think and came up with this idea. Instead of spending $2 a day on a pick 3 ticket, I just put said $2 everyday in a jar, I am guarenteed $500 by Feb 15 of '06. So then I took this line of thinking a bit farther, say at that point I still feel like playing Pick 3... If I played my $2 a day but still put the money in my jar... choose my numbers based on my state lottory and if I win I pay myself. Yes this would definately require som

Texas Lottery considers changing jackpot calculation
That would be nice. But when you sit down at the table you gotta play the house rules. If they say the dealer doesn't have to hit a soft seventeen, you either cash in and find another house, or you smile perlitely and plunk down another chip.Every table has a guy sitting there scowling about the house rules, the dealers, the cards and howling about the way the other players play their hands, every loss is someone elses fault, every win is skill. But those guys aren't enjoying themselves, and mo

40% is not enough!
so if i win a 10 million dollar jackpot i only get 4mil after all taxes get taken....danm, i thought it would be about 7 mil or 6 at least.......that glass is half full alright, half full of nothing xsmega:you could always tell them to keep their piddling 4 mill, go back to whatever you were doing before you won a jackpot, minus spending money on tickets. That's the available alternative. They own the racetrack, they own the horses and they own the dollars you spend, not to put too heavy a

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
Heh, that was great. Actually the computerized lottery systems are more random than using real balls in a air cycle system, balls wear over time and get dented over time, those balls that do tend to not show up as much...and the fact that human hands are always in there inspecting the real lottery balls that all adds to the likelihood of rigged lotteries. All you need to do is add 1 sq inch of scotch tape (yes lottery balls are that light) to put the likelihood of the drawing of the ball down

Think your lottery is crazy?
I guess it's just a different lottery culture in Brazil, but their games are all big. They don't have much in the way of smaller prizes. Check out what I mean:Mega-Sena (Mega Six)Matrix: 6/60No Minimum Jackpot, usually starts around R$ 1 Million.Match 5: About R$ 25,000Match 4: About R$ 25025% of the prize pool goes into some reserve fund, I don't know what it's for.
