Need some advice
The odds sound good. I would have a few questions before putting out any money, like: who is handling the raffle, the charity or the developer? what are the rules, can any member or immediate family member of either organization win? is the house as is, or is it guarnteed to be finished ? Who set the value of the house and would an appraiser agree? does either pary have a history with the BBB? who will supervise the drawing? will it be public?
best of luck to you

The ONLY way you are going to see a 1 billion or 2 billion dollar LOtto. Dont laugh
Some of your ideas look like the emails I get saying my Yahoo email addressed was drawn in a mythical Internet lottery and I won a secondary prize of $250,000. And all I have to do is send they all my personal information including SS number, bank account numbers, pin numbers, etc.
Many of the state lotteries have run raffles where they sell around 625,000 $20 tickets and payout half the income as prizes. The difference between your idea and the lotteries is they already have a network in pla

Describe Your First Time Ever Playing The Lottery...
Way back in the Stoneage when I first played the lottery, the games were more like raffles. A co-worker had bought some tickets in Pennsylvania and I bought $5 worth of them. I didn't win but I was one of the first people in line to play the Buckeye 300 when the Ohio Lottery started. There were other raffle type games before they went online with the Pick-3 game.
I hit my license plate number straight and boxed for a dollar on the second drawing and been hooked ever since. When the Lotto game

Florida man wins third big lottery prize
Luck has struck for the third time for a central Florida man.
James Bush of South Daytona is one of three $1 million winners to claim their Firecracker Millionaire Raffle prize so far from the Florida Lottery. He bought the ticket in Port Orange.
But this isn't the first time the 50-year-old has claimed a winning ticket.
On his way to Florida Lottery headquarters, he bought a Billion Dollar Blockbuster scratch-off ticket and won $1,000. And in 2007, he won $500,000 in the Gold Rush scra

PA Millionaire Raffle
Okay, I'll buy a few - but best bet would be to go to Bradford County - yeah way up State to get the tickets, nothing big ever hits Philadelphia. I mean BIG. Worth a drive to a small out of the way town.
Yeah, Raffle - sell all the tickets or the numbers are put in the hat.
Anyone figure out how much after taxes? I know somebody did.
