Tennessee Lottery scratch game prize controversy looming
What are your chances of winning big in the Tennessee lottery? The odds are changing every day.In fact, at some point, all of the top prizes in a scratch-off game could be gone even as lottery players continue to play, believing they still have a chance at the pot of gold.Though that hasn't happened yet, lottery spokeswoman Kym Gerlock said that at some point all of the top prizes in a game could be gone while tickets are still being sold. The fine print on the back of lottery tickets warns player

Value of a lottery ticket
The value of a lottery ticket is equal to the chance of winning multiplied by the average prize. For example: A straight draw Pick-3 ticket has a 0.001 chance of winning, and the prize is $500 (in Illinois, anyway). Multiplying 0.001 by $500 gives a ticket value of 50 cents. Thus, when you buy a $1 straight draw Pick-3 ticket, you are paying a dollar for something with a value of only 50 cents. It's worth noting that both the Box-3 and the Box-6 tickets are only worth 48 cents; so, even though yo

Why is the Pick 3 so popular?
For the edification of everyone here, pick three or the numbers or policy is a game started in the black enclaves of cities like New York and Chicago. You could play as little as a penny. The bankers were black, the runners were black, and the players were black. The Mafia realizing that this was a great way to make money actually took over the games by force, lowered the payouts to 6 or 7 hundred to one (you should get a thousand to one) an took it outside the ghetto. During the twenty's and th

Why is the Pick 3 so popular?
People just love to lose their money on these long term losers. The same goes for the pick 4 game. I can't undrestand the logic of spending three or four times the jackpot amount and then jumping up and down like their winners when their numbers are drawn? If these same folks put $1,000 in the bank and in a few years withdrew all of it and there was only a couple of hundred dollars. They would yell and stream bloody murder! Do the very same thing in a pick 3 and pick 4 game and they call them se

My thoughts are, there is no such amount.RJOhQuote: Originally posted by Pick-4_Master on May

A Modest Proposal
quote radarmand, Win D,You're offering me 2-to-1 odds on a 50/50 bet, right?I would love to take that bet. I'd be a fool not to. Private wagering being illegal, however, I can't possibly agree to do so in writing on-line. Now radarmand......We don't have to play for dirty old money. Just the gratification you will enjoy.... after proving your point should be payment enough. Bringing a little light into the world of the weak minded is a noble thing. Please radarmand.,....help us.
