Looking for Sum Tricks
Laverne.....how do you track the sums now? If you use the 10 column sums chart you can track the same as other digits. The 10 column is an equal distribution of numbers so its just like regular digit tracking. The exception is that because a Sum only comes once a day.....unlike regular digits that come 3 times a day. To find out how late a Sum is, you have to divide the days a Sum is out by 3. If a sum has not hit in 15 draws you divide by 3. 15/ 3 = 5 regular days out. Sums can seem like th

Longest skips and the PA midday...
Here's an interesting bit of information... something finally passed backtesting...payoff to date summary...1. .50ST+.50BX, cost to date = $361, wins to date $660, profit $2992. $1ST+.50BX, cost to date = $541.50, wins to date $1,160, profit $618.503. $1ST+$1BX, cost to date = $722, wins to date $1,320, profit $598Apparently if you have a 1 number system, the best way to play is $1 straight and $.50 boxed...This is an accurate check on playing the MOST OUT number in each position only... keep in

Scratch off Odds?
Mentioned this on another line. Anyone play the new $2 Pa. Lucky Birthday. Look closely. That's way different for a scratch game. Better odds for $2 (less than 1 in 4--newer games keep getting higher) and a top prize of $100. Low for a $1 game, but lots of prizes--a pay out rate (not published- I sat down and calculated it) of 65%. REmember for most draw games, only about 35% is paid out. (OK Daily numbers are about 50-50. 50% goes to the State (Elderly) programs. the rest (too high of a

MY VIEWS ON Match 6
RE: The PA Match 6/49First, they have reduced the amount of numbers from 69 to 49 and that's good. But to me, doing so is a tacit admission that players got smarter and abandoned the 6/69 ripoff game. Clearly, the 69 number field did not work for them.Second, however, they lowered the Jackpot to $500,000 to be increased each drawing ONLY by an increment of $50,000! This is a ripoff that will save them a ton of money. Think about the other 6/49 Lottos you know whose jackpot is in the millions

lottery tickets
Quote: Originally posted by prob987 on February 03, 2004 Speaking of driving for tickets, I wonder what happened to the sales in Delaware when Pennsylvannia signed on to Powerball? I'm betting that South Carolina would hate it if North Carolina started a lottery.Good question. It didn't take long for the Philly Daily news to run the story quoting the Delaware officials complaining. Delaware never did make enough on tickets when Md. and Pa. started in the 70's; their scratch games pay little f

Probability of a rollover in PB and MM
These probabilities are estimates made from the predicted forecast sales. I estimate sales by multiplying the number of winners times the overall odds of winning and have been tracking them for some time. Over time you would expect the variances to average out. There is evidence that they do: The average values from these calculations agree very well with the lotteries reported prize ratio figures, as given on lottoreport.com, so I have confidence in my assumptions. (This is in spite of a

GA 800
Thanks Blue and Robe 519 ...... no big deal .....just tracking. The record for an all odd missing is 67 days. We were 64 days out on this one at night. Sooooo....... it had to be real close. The average is every 18 days. My buddy who won tonight hit a straight and a straight box for 790.00 on that 351. It pays to track these groups. Don't let anyone tell you that they don't need to track past 30 days. It just doesn't pay not to keep up with these groups. This was the second time my friend has

Mass. Lottery games to merge, jackpots to increase
I'm all for getting rid of 6/49 Mass Millions and keeping 6/42 Megabucks with increased payoffs for lower prizes, a bonus number and a cash option. If they make it 6/45 or something like that without other big changes, what's the point? I'd rather lose going for a huge MegaMillions jackpot than face almost as bad odds going for much less money in the boring new game. Now is the time to make real improvements if they are going to. How can they lure people against enormous MegaMillions jackpot

WA Lotto Blue Knight
The situation of testing Jackpot games is - of course - different than the testing of PICK 3 games where the ratio of played selection to total number of selections it way lower.Playing or displaying 20 numbers in PICK 3: Your Straight chances 1:50Offering 252 numbers in PICK 6/49 : Your chances are about 1:55,491.What does that mean? You have to look at more than one test. And that's what I would like to do.So apparently the next tries will show how it is doing and whether improving previous dr
