I wasn't a conspiracy theorist until now....... First, having 2 grand prize winners for a non-billion dollar jackpot, not surprising. Those grand prizes not being in at least one of these states (CA, TX, FL or NY) is odd. The real eyebrow raiser was out of 89 second prize winners, there was no representation from TX, FL or NY. Here's proof that the drawing is random This drawing is probably proof that plenty of people play patterns, and certain proof that certain numbers coming up results in a number of winners that's only random in that whatever factor caused them to choose their numbers happened to match one of the combinations in the small subset of combinations that match the possible patterns. There's a limit to how much a jackpot can grow with multiple drawings. 3 per week vs 2 has some impact, but it's mostly on the people who are addicted to playing one set of numbers for every drawing. They don't account for much of a jackpot increase. It's the people who only play when the jackpot gets really big, or people who buy lots of QP when the jackpot gets big, that drives it up faster. Funny thing, I have never watched a live drawing. I have also never watched a full recorded drawing where all numbers get drawn, it's always those short clips on news stories where they play a short piece of the draw. There's absolutely nothing wrong with watching the live draws, it's just something that I have never thought of doing
