NEWBIE ... please be gentle
Welcome... For the 2 number game, just make a vertical list of 0-9 on a sheet of paper. One of those numbers have to come out right? Then just add one number to the entire list, and your odds will be reduced from 1 in a 100 to 1 in 10. Let's say the number we will choose is 8: 08 18 28 38 48 58 68 78 88 98 If 8 comes out, you win. To further cut costs, just play the bottom or top half. Most of the time, when one side hits 4 to 7 times in a row, just swit

Powerball lottery jackpot hits $200 million
The Powerball jackpot for Saturday's drawing $200 million has once again grown large enough to draw new or infrequent players to ticket counters. The most popular lottery games are normally the $1 and $5 games that offer chances at prizes ranging from a few bucks to $1 million. Those are the heavy hitters for most state lotteries, generating as much as half of total sales. The customers start to change, though, when the multi-state Powerball game starts touting jackpots approaching $20

What is a False Triple?
It all depends how you look at the game. I look at it from a different view point. All 3 positions must follow at some point for this to work. Preferably a short skip. Cheating scratch-offs
In each "book" of tickets, there will be a certain number of low tier winners. In each "group" of books, there are 1 or a few next higher tier winners. Among the many groups, there are next higher tier winners, and so on, with one big winner within a major grouping of tickets. If a game has 3 jackpot prizes available, only 1 jackpot prize will be within a major grouping of tickets (there would be 3 major groupings if there are 3 jackpot prizes). Example below (the odds and amounts are differe

Financial Planner? Here's one...
This is from the oney column in our local paper: What's the big deal about playing the lottery? By Joe Pxxxxxx & (Provided) Question: I realize the odds are greatly against me winning the Lotto, but I love the excitement of playing. Besides, I only spend $10 a week. I know you will say this is not a good idea, but what is the big deal? Answer: True financial peace does not come from having tons of money, but from knowing how to manage the money you have.

Tennessee Lottery players unanimous in their discontent with drawings
Reder Views: Do you have faith in the Tennessee Lottery? Managers of the Tennessee Lottery must think those playing the lottery are either awfully naive or just plain dumb. Why? It appears to me that winners of future lotteries will no longer be just because of honest luck. Changing the method from purely chance - that is, from air- blown pingpong balls rolling down chutes (unless they already have been cheating by adding weights to some pingpong balls) to a programmed computer approach
