convicted felons and jackpot winnings
But to add to this
What if you buy a lottery ticket and then get convicted of a felony? You are legally walking around as a free citizen and buy a Raffle ticket. You commit a crime and go to jail. 6 weeks later you are sitting behind bars and win a million dollars.
What then?

Do new games cannibalize other games?
I think they do. Cool games for sure. I mean something exciting like raffle.
If regular game was introduced, it would cannibalize older games for first few weeks/months I guess.

Georgia lawmakers question lottery bonuses
I have not trusted the Georgia lottery in a couple years now. They rip off the cash 3 and cash 4 players. Repeat numbers, always the same old numbers month after month. How many draws has it been since they brought a triple???? I see people in the store spending there last dollars in hope that one of the numbers they've played for months would come out. (I ve done it myself). And I know it's not going to happen, and don't want to rain on there parade. There is a slim chance to win anything

POLL: Motivation for playing
Define something. (a free ticket?)
I checked to win a jackpot but $50,000 would be okay. Of course, one of these days I will have invested more than $50,000 so I'll just break even at that point!
I want to win a jackpot of course (who wouldn't?) but it doesn't have to be $100 million. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy a raffle ticket this month, but $1 million would be just fine, and I won't pout if I get only the $100,000 prize.

Holiday Raffle Games
But the others in comparison are downright defamation, so PA has the best.
It looks like PA has found the right formula by offering more $100 prizes (7790). The Florida raffle has a different twist by offering 20,000 instant $50 winners.
But the state with the best chance of winning $1 million for 20 bucks will probably be Ohio because I doubt they will sell 500,000 of the 625,000 tickets.

Holiday Raffle Games
Ohio starts their New Years Raffle sales on Friday 11-23.
But, it is hard to believe that they can sell out by then with such little notice?
I will buy one only.

PA Millionaire Raffle
Thanks SirBrad for the reminder of this ticket raffle. Every year I curse myself for giving in, yet forever holding out the HOPE that I could have a winning ticket. With my losing streak in the highest of gear lately, I best hold off on buying one. Any idea how its sales are going? (meaning did you buy one yet?)
One of the state raffles had a ticker on its site to even let someone know how the daily sales were going. Wish PA would do that, sorta entice people to buy!
