Office Pool concept
Hello JustMaybe! Ah, that makes more sense. So we first decide how many tickets each person will be buying, and fork up the amount. Since everyone's buy-in amount is the same, then we all split the money evenly? That is more simple and straightforward. But I feel like some people don't want to pay as much, while others would be willing to buy much more. So to accommodate different playing style, I was thinking of creating a payout system based on the dollar buy-in. So you can buy in

Michigan man wins $6 million prize after playing the lottery for 40 years
I agree with you. The lottery should not be viewed as a retirement plan. The odds do not support that. For me the lottery is a What if scenario. I feed the lottery what I can without jeopardizing my retirement. If I win, well, I win and be happy and do more.

Kentucky lottery winner of $167.3 million Powerball jackpot claims prize two days after drawing
Yeah, I think MM is gonna have a hard time generating interest with 5 dollar tickets and increases of only 10 million when they start at 50 million. Like I said PB is cheaper to buy ...... the odds off winning the jackpot are slightly higher than MM and they have the momentum on there side with three draws a week. Now id prefer PB went back to two draws a week but .......oh well. I want to play MM but I'm not in until it reaches at the very least 200 million..... And if I had better disc

The Hoosier Daily 3 is Rigged
In Pennsylvania, the combo that has been drawn most on the evening pick 3 is any variant of 015... that has only happened a little over 30 times in almost 17,000 draws. That is a long enough history that ALL of the 1,000 straight combinations have been drawn at least 5 times. With such gaps between appearances, historical trends fail to hold. The probability in a pick 3 game is that each ball has an equal chance of being drawn in any draw. Of course, PA has a history of deception (the in

I need the experts to help me here.
Personally, I like option 2 the best. It is more convenient than option 1, and even if you have the same numbers for a week, they will be drawing different ones. In my personal view, I don't like option 3 because you in no way significantly reduce the odds by playing 7 different combos for just one draw, and you miss 6 other draws. I have learned that with these jackpot games, one ticket is enough, and if I were to buy 2 for the same draw, am I not essentially betting against myself? 7 c

Powerball
Posting in the challenges has zero to do with winning actual cash or having a viable system. One is choosing 12 numbers and 4 bonus balls. The game is for entertainment purposes and a friendly challenge between a very small handful of lp members. I think Brock Lee explained this simple concept previously. If you know probability 101, you can figure out those odds. And yes, if you are spending a lot of money, you are probably winning a small fraction of $ back at best. And if someone has

Maryland: 3/1 - 3/31/2025
Here's your 000 history. There is a couple 4/5 year long cold streaks. https://www.lotterypost.com/results/search?q=G3AA%2BI3UVveMTabTKU3z0MI2cK43ngJjgw04k0ASG1An3%2BkswAB%2BPjRites88bupK55X0S4QYf9bpdMQk2YZltkOTAvAuws%3D People get excited about the triples, but I don't bother with them. 730 drawings a year and you want to chase something that hits on average 6 to 8 drawings or less? Eight a year is 1.09% of the drawings, six is 0.82%. If you played all 10 triples for $1, both dra
