I really don't know ILLotteryman because if go by the overall odds which is 1 in 2.98 on Merry Millionaire..... Which makes it the 2nd highest odds on a $20.00.. The only game with worst odds the Platium Payout 20X...... But on the other hand with it being holiday game they may have put more smaller winners... So it could be a wise move..... It just depends on how you feel about it..... If I had the extra $600.00 I would buy a whole book of them.... I know that the normal payback is 40% to 60%..

Have you guys seen the odds for the new $20.00 game? Not good! One in 3.5, I believe.
That's almost the same odds as a $10.00 ticket. If they're going to come out with a ticket that's twice as expensive, why can't they make the overall odds something like one in 2.5 - with the chances of winning smaller, $500.00 prizes 1 in 700, or something like that?

Why Do Mathematicians Consider The Lottery Random
That may be true but always remember that it helps your odds to come up with equations and formulas to make your odds better! like 80X...now X becomes the number you need and great lottery players can come up with winning combinations from hot and cold numbers such as myself and we win much more often, with out just a chance and raising our odds tremendously! Glad it doesnt work in our favor all the time unless we would shut down the lottery, but just like a ball player calculating his shot or Ti

$2 Powerball
I am one of these guys that aims specifically at the second-tier prize
Second-tier prizes range from $200K to $1M and there are plenty of other games offering those size prizes with better odds. Many pick5 games have odds of 1/600K with jackpots of $200K+ and most state lotteries have jackpots of $1M-$10M+ with odds of 1/14M. If you're still playing PB then you have hope of winning the jackpot.

Changes coming to Powerball multi-state lottery game in January
The new Powerball game will still offer players nine ways to win prizes, with its second prize moving up to $1 million in cash from the current $200,000, and the lowest prize level (for those who match just the Powerball) being elevated to $4 from $3.
Let's see what these better odds really are. Right now $2 gives you a 1 in 97.5 million chance of winning the jackpot, and for the same $2 the new game will give you a 1 in 175 million chance. They claim that the jackpot will be twice as big, bu

Painful losses
RL-RANDOMLOGIC,
I might want to comment on your post. I play the Mega Millions all the time. I agree with your odds, yet there are two sides of these two games. The first side is the white balls and the second side is the bonus ball side. In the Mega Ball game, the odds of winning on the white balls, is 1 in 3,819,816. If you take that and multiply that by 46, the odds become 1 in 175,711,536. Why not concentrate on the white ball side and leave the mega ball out of the equation! Now let's ta

I went to webpage Raven62 mentioned found a glaring mistake in the articles section under Revealed where it said ...
You see, that 1-in-120,526,770 relates to buying ONE game.
If you buy 10 games, your odds of winning First Prize are now 1-in-12,052,677.
If you buy 100 games, your odds of winning First Prize fall to 1-in-1,205,268.
This is totally false that your odds of winning drop by so much just because you buy extra tickets. In fact the truth is ...

Winning A Lottery Jackpot Today
Mathematically speaking when you have 1 ticket(with one line), your odds are 1/x, where x is the number of possible combinations there are. So if you're playing a Pick 6/48 game, with 1 ticket, your odds are 1 / 12,271,512. However, even with 1 ticket, I would feel like my odds are slightly better given the fact that the majority of the time, the winning numbers drawn are usually spread out over a wide range and the majority of quick pick numbers also span a wide range. I'm simply not going to w
