Why do you play hoping to win big one day but also knowing that we might never win ?
I play the lottery because I'd like to be debt free. I'm not drowning in debt. I'm retired, living in Florida, and I play Florida Fantsy5. Jackpots range from $175,000 to $210,000 before taxes and the odds of winning a jackpot are 376,992 to 1. I have more than enough resources in both my wife's and my 401k to be debt free, but we'd rather leave that money to our adult children. My wife and I live on two monthly pension checks and two Social Security checks. If I hit a Fantsy5 jackpot, I'd

getting back to an old topic RNG controlled
The only time someone successfully tampered with the lottery balls (which was decades ago in Pennsylvania), they were immediately identified and caught How quickly would they have been caught if they hadn't bought thousands of tickets? They basically waved a big flag to draw attention to the unusual betting pattern. In both incidents the problem wasn't with the equipment itself, but with the poor security that let people access the equipment and tamper with it. The computer RNG let Tipt

Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
Thank you for your point of view OhSoClose. I hear what you are saying, but if what you say was true, that would mean that all the security personnel as well as the auditors, would either be in on the rigging or they just look the other way. There just isn't the need for any lottery to be rigged. The odds / payouts are all that is needed for any lottery to be successful. Sure, rigged lotteries have happened, but that was for and by private individuals and NOT for and by the lotteries. This ri

Pennsylvania man arrested after using scissors and glue to make winning lottery tickets
Or he intentionally messed up the bar code I also don't play scratchers, but surely they also have numbers on them for identifying the specific ticket. The NY online game tickets I'm looking at have 3 sets of numbers on them in addition to the bar code. One set is a 5 digit code that identifies the retailer, and the others are 18 digits and 6 digits. There's also a set of printed numbers on the back that tell what roll of printer paper the ticket came from, and where on the roll it was prin

lottery number picker's
There are a million free random number generators online. There's one on LP, on the sidebar under Quick Picks. There is also random.org that is supposedly a true random number generator. If you use chrome, you can copy and paste this Javascript code in the address bar and hit enter. javascript:arr=[];while(arr.length 6){r=Math.floor(Math.random()*49)+1;if(arr.indexOf(r)===-1){arr.push(r);}}alert(arr); It generates a pop up box with 6 random numbers. Make sure that the javascript: at th

Arkansas Lottery claim center closed after possible exposure to COVID-19
JWBlue, COVID-19 is Corona Virus #19. It is the nineteenth Corona Virus discovered. Here in California after a win I will have to mail in copies of my Social Security Card, my Driver's License. The claim form and the winning ticket. I will find out about the W-2G form and the form for choosing the Cash Lump Sum or the Annuity. Jackpot Election Claim Form. Cash for me thank you! Both of the COVID-19 and the Bubonic Plague have been discovered in China. The Bubonic Plague or as k

After Winning The Lottery . . .
Oddly enough the older I get the more minimalist I become. So while I would move to a new place the house would be smaller and easier to maintain. I would concentrate more on having land surrounding me where I wouldn't be able to see or hear the neighbors. Of course I'd have room for visiting friends and family but I have no need for a McMansion showpiece. I also wouldn't have a staff except for security guards and a phalanx of attorneys on retainer. Then again, if I was to bank over $20

I just thought it was interesting and helpful since it's about a phone scammer who fooled a security expert so thought some of you may want to read it. I changed the wording in my post to anyone instead of you (meaning anyone)! If I had just meant you I would have replied to you with your post showing in mine like the one above now. I'll get back to p3 now since I got off the subject....I like 225 552 for today!
