How would you design a game so more people win?
hehehe yeah i think everyone would pick it.
seems theres a few people comment on wanting the pots to be shared around more but the games aint designed that way. the jackpots dfont happen if its easier to win. and if they canged the odds to play once the pot got higher why would anyone buy at harder odds instead of just waiting for the better odds.

$330 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot nears record high
or, you could look at it this way from an additional common sense perspective......
even if one did buy $100 worth in a game that has 176 milllion to 1 odds, you realistically are still not giving yourself better odds of winning anything........ in light of the fact that people cannot even win the pick3 with any consistentcy, and that after supposedly effectively covering the matrix field with more saturation vs dollar(s) spent.
since we are discussing increasing one's odds/probability by

why is the pick 3 odds at 1 in 1000?
the 1000th number would have to be 4 numbers, not 3. I am guessing the 1000th number is really 000. Correct?
I was assuming the pick 3 odds would have to be 1 in 999.

Math Odds Question
It gets confusing by putting it in terms of chances to win by saying there is 1 chance to win out of 437 chances.
Odds are calculated as chances to lose compared to chances to win. The actual odds against winning on a 5/39 are 575,574 to 1 because one of those combos has to win. Since 436 chances in your example will lose but one will win, the odds are 436 to 1.

$750,000 Winner - Jingle Jumbo Bucks - 2010
OK, here is the response which I received.
Thank you for contacting the Georgia Lottery Corporation (GLC).
The Georgia Lottery goes to great lengths to ensure the security and integrity
of every game. Game symbols and prize amounts are distributed randomly during
the printing process of instant tickets. All instant games are audited by an
independent CPA firm prior to the release of a game to confirm that the
appropriate number of prizes is included in the printing process

You Win MORE winning/playing Pick4 Box than Straight...
it is sort of wishful thinking and is sort of not....but i dont see why it should be difficult...People in here chase astronomicall odds over and over, why go after 1 in 10,000 odds...Many times i feel like yelling at people in here telling them, MAKE YOUR LIFE SIMPLE...
and is not even 1 in 200 odds for the box payout but 1 in 70...Actually is none of the above if you look at the compressed numbers in 2 s it will be, 1 in 16 odds for 2x2x2x2 = $16...
if you let:
1 and 2 = 1
3 and 4

Would you agree - Pick 3 is played by poor people mainly
The odds are more in your favor vs. the other games.
Most 5/39 games give overall odds of 1 in 9 and I've seen scratch-offs as low as 1 in 3. What are the odds of winning something buying one pick-3 ticket?

Win with Pairs on Doubles Days/ I did yesterday...
I forget to play the easy pairs way for doubles a lot ......... but not yesterday on the midday draw!
After 14 days with no double .....the odds were ripe for a Doubles Pair win. A lot cheaper with better odds.
66....3
In Georgia we can play just 2 digits .......and win.
Most of the time that's hard to do with Straight Pairs..... but not on Doubles Days.
We can playfront pairs and back pairs here and win more than our standard 40 bucks box hit.

Vt. Lottery computer glitch creates extra winners
test of the terminal could be any kind of thing printed and is likely not in a form of a playable ticket
A test mode that won't print tickets wouldn't allow for a proper test. Of course it would be good idea if such tickets were clearly labeled.
A bigger question is the correlation between the error and the Winning set drawn.
There's that reading problem. The was no winning set drawn . The tickets are printed with two sets of numbers, and the problem resulted in all of the numbers i

What's with NY Sweet Million??
Tough to compare the two - CT game NY Take 5 but here is how I see it
to win $500 on CT - odds 1 in 22,913
to win ABOUT $500 in Take 5 - odds 1 in 3,386.81
Also the CT web site lists the following
-*Overall odds are 1 in 14.4. Top prize values subject to split-prize liability,
the NY Take 5 is
over all odds - 1 in 8.77 and top prize split also
so from a standpoint of odds NY Take 5 looks better. But I have always liked the many different payouts that the CT game has and thou
