Location Location
After looking at the locations of where all the winners were in the last Florida lotto raffle , one thing came to mind. It appears as if the computer is picking the winners by location, not random numbers. this would make sense , as by picking random numbers, you could end up with 40 winners in one city by coincidense which would cause an uproar. The computer knows where each number is purchased. It's just common sense the LOTTO folks would use this information to their advantage and spread

How long until someone here wins $1,000,000+?
A lot of people here seem really, really close to winning a large jackpot/raffle/scratch-off ($1 million+).
With so many people, it seems like it's just a matter of time before someone wins big.
So, when do you think think it will happen?

Those "raffle" lottery games
Just for your info, I bought one of the $50.00 dollar tickets and was 20 tickets away from $100,000. Now you might say one ticket or ten thousand you still did not have a winning ticket. Well you are right unless i have a winner it is still a loser. You tell me one game that the odds are one in 125,000 for 2 million dollars? I live in mich and the raffle for $20.00 has 6 one million dollar winners guaranteed! That is one in one hundred thousand. All prizes are going to be won as long as yo

Those "raffle" lottery games
Hey, you never know.... NY lottery
NY raffle the odds of winning $1 million are 1 of 107,000.
The odds are awesome compared with scratch offs and Pb and MM. Well worth the $20 investment. IMO

Predictions: Lp
I want to see ALL raffles watched over by someone that is 'licensed'.
I am in too danged many of them - yes, it's just a dollar - but someone always is having a raffle for their kids' baseball team, or whatever non-profit organization, but the draw date comes and goes, and you never hear about who won that 46 plasma TV or the new Harley.
I just seem to know a lot of friends and co-workers that buy into the same raffles I do, and over the years, none of us have ever won a thing.
I just

Michigan Lottery's Super Raffle results announced
JazzMan,
No need to continue wondering, I'll swap tickets with you.
Although I did not win, I still feel the odds are so much better than the other games that I will continue to participate in the raffle type games.

Mega Winners In Lotto
Maybe I'm not understanding the question here, but how can any random game guarantee the number of winners? Sometimes there are no winners at all and sometimes there are more than 1. A raffle is different because it already is stating there will be XXX amount of winners.
For example, last night 2 people won the Florida Lotto. Now, it's probably true that 2 QPS won because so many people played, but this could happen if the jackpot was only the minimum of $3 million. Also, someone else

New Florida Raffle
Good luck to you Lacie!
I haven't decided yet. On the one hand $20 is a lot to blow on one ticket. On the other, I spent over $1,000 on a root canal in Nov and my tooth still hurts a lot. I spent $40 for a wheel balance, then over $100 on a special wheel balance (called road force) and ended up getting 4 new tires anyway! So if I keep wasting money like this, why not blow $100 on 5 Raffle tickets? $20 could turn into a million $$$.
Just an update.... in 2 days there have be

New Florida Raffle
I bought my raffle ticket today at 3:00pm and I'm number 54566.
I have a feeling this game will run out of tickets by the I'st week in june.
with the lottery selling only 1.5 million tickets the chance of being one of the 12 - 1,000,000 dollar winners looks brighter than normal.
