New Florida Raffle
I bought my raffle ticket today at 3:00pm and I'm number 54566. I have a feeling this game will run out of tickets by the I'st week in june. with the lottery selling only 1.5 million tickets the chance of being one of the 12 - 1,000,000 dollar winners looks brighter than normal.

Texas Lottery introduces $50 scratch ticket
Cant be winning that much. In one store I buy tickets at I frequently bumped into someone that spent $300 on the afternoon and $300 on the evening draws. The best he did was get $40,000 in 2 months on the 4 digit. If I had that much to spend I certainly would *NOT* be buying tickets!!! The person just recently gave up....though I dont know for how long. BTW the Lootery here sold out of those $50 raffle tickets in less than 2 days!!

do the lotteries have people researching systems and methods?
I checked of course they do only because I think they make sure the odds are in their favor all the time. I assume that any online or instant game is researched thoroughly before its release. The FL Raffle was a huge success for the State. Then they came up with EZ Match for the Fantasy5 - another way to get people to spend $2 on a $1 ticket. However, I also believe as you wrote above, that they must check to see if there are any weaknesses, i.e., the same store selling winning tickets

Texas Lottery introduces $50 scratch ticket
Well, Michigan isn't having any touble selling $50 tickets. Half the raffle tickets sold the first day. That is 125,000 times $50! I wonder if they thought about the impact on the economy and the impact on other taxes. 50 bux is a tank of gas that did not get pumped and they did not collect tax on to fix the roads. 50 bux is a dinner out that some restaraunt did not get and did not need a minimum wage employee for. Why do they think they cant sell $2 tickets for the regular jackpot games

Michigan Lottery to debut $50 'Super Raffle' tickets
I know the ticket said annuitized but in the press release for January 5, 2007 the website says: In the single drawing on January 3, 765 raffle tickets were randomly selected to win the following great prizes: 5 grand prizes of $1,000,000 each (annuitized over 20 years or lump sum) I'm going in with my mother and sister to buy a ticket; I just can't do $50. The only reason I did the $20 was because I knew that there truly was a chance for me to win. Plus, twice before when there were

Michigan Lottery to debut $50 'Super Raffle' tickets
I really wonder if they'll sell all of them. Wisconsin has their raffle going at $10/ticket with 500,000 available. The deadline is 9PM tonight and the have only sold about 65% of their tickets. They will still make money of course. ANd those that buy a ticket will have even better odds due to about (estimating) 20% of their tickets not being sold. But if they can't sell 500,000 at 10 bucks each, at least here, they wouldn't be able to sell half that many at five times as much.

Only 1 day left to claim $19M N.J. Lottery jackpot
And i am here asking for only 1 million dollars.... I heard the store received 2,000 dollars only? Here in Georgia the store gets 25,000 for selling the winning ticket... MY gosh this people are so stingy.... It hurts me to see that they willing to charge 50 dollars for a raffle ticket, and yet they're not willing to give the winning tickets no one claims and form a sweepstakes...They could have use 19 million dollars and break it down into 19 1-million dollars and give it out as sweepstak

Young People on LP (Under 30)
Hey people I just wanted to know if there were any young people on LP? How old are you? What games do you play and why? I'm 22 and I only play 4 games: Mega Millions, Classic Lotto Ohio, Raffle Ohio (when its going on), and Rolling Cash 5. As you can see (except Rolling Cash 5) I only play games with a pot over a 1 million dollars because I rather have prize that could really change my life rather that $500 here, or $80 there with the smaller games.

Ohio's Classic Lotto 03/14/07
I believe they discontinued Super Lotto Plus because sales dropped when they joined Mega Millions. Lot O' Play was a different type of game they hoped would appeal to the Bingo instant scratch-off players and it even had the instant win feature. $2 online tickets have never worked in Ohio so they had to come up with something else. Classic Lotto's jackpot is a 30 year annuity so it's hard to say if it will ever take off because it still has to compete with Rolling Cash 5 and the Midday draws.

Kentucky Lottery's new '3 Line Lotto' starts next Monday
I really did miss that part. Still, I don't want to pay 2 bucks for a ticket. That is why I don't play scratch offs. They can cost as high as $10 per ticket. No way am I playing that! I figure the less I spend on the small stuff the more I have to spend on the real jackpots like mega millions and powerball. Think about it: If you only got lucky one time in your life, would you want it to be for thousands of dollars or Millions? And all it takes is one time for me to get it right. The only
