On a related note, both Mega Millions and Powerball are mum when it comes to what the exact liability cap is for lower tier prizes going para-mutuel (like California already does). Vast majority of players don't know that the lower tier prizes can be reduced (ie. $1 Million match-5 prize could become $100K) in some instances. Was one off on both the p3 p4 numbers but got lucky with 2 scratch cards...got $100 on each of them! One was the bad odds $10 card and the dazzler $5 card! Don't think I could have been much closer with both of them! It crossed my mind to play 814 but said no it's hit already 2 times...this makes the 3rd! The p4 was 6693 mine is 3366 3695 both boxed...darn it! But not too unhappy...won $100 on that bad odds $10 card...thank goodness for that!
