What denomination would you pick if you were to buy a whole pack of scratch off tickets?
I am contemplateing buying a whole pack of scratchers but am hesitant for two reasons.. One, which denomination would be the best to go for? (Other than what I can afford ) and second, how many winners are on a roll usually and are there some rolls with no winners? That would be my luck! I mean what do you think the odds are of winning your money back or more? Or would you stay away from doing this entirely and vary your ticket purchase to say 5 tickets off various rolls.. Anyone do this

If a SUM is out more than the mathematical odds, it's due, but I give it a few extra draws before it's due see SUM 13, says 1 in 13, this means within 13 draws, a SUM 13 should draw SUM 9 shows 1 in 18 draws, so, within 18 draws, a SUM 9 should draw SUM 13 has been out for 25 draws, so it's 12 draws past due. Sum Odds of Sum Being Drawn 0 1 in 1,000 1 1 in 333 2 1 in 167 3 1 in 100 4 1 in 67 5 1 in 48 6 1 in 36 7 1 in 28 8 1

Powerball is kicking it up-10 millionaires were made tonight!!.
Amazing how even $300 million advertised annuity jackpots aren't exciting. Main reason seems to be jackpot fatigue - it's no longer new, etc. Also many players now perceive the odds of winning to be not just astronomical, but rather seemingly impossible (especially so with Mega Millions after its matrix change). Plus, to add insult to injury, the doubled price. And more savvy players see through the overly inflated annuity jackpot amount; don't trust the estimates at all, since Powerball does

I am on a losing streak
Hi Stack47, i do not believe the ticket that I wasn't able to get was a jackpot winner. With 25 million scratch off tickets in play and only a limited number of jackpot prizes I am realistic enough to know that most likely it wouldn't have been a jackpot ticket. I was just thinking the ticket in between the second one I bought might have won something for someone and therefore my buying the second ticket might have made no sense since it wasn't the next numbered ticket that I thought it was,

Still lol @ the title - way too humble for that My focus is sum 21 - BUT You might be onto something with the 03 pair (T5 has a pair) ... The balance of 796 (203) is the mirror of the top number on the midday chart (587 mirror is 032).... Maybe 03 pair with sum 10 (as Long Odds mentioned) Loona also mentioned the skips on 3, 0, 6 I also like 003, 303

Race and the lottery
Yes, but again, what is a large number of people? The concept of percentages existed 30 years ago so that should have been included. Good journalism would have approached this question with facts, not unsubstantiated innuendos. If statistics had backed up their claim, then the next step would be to question how the machines could possibly determine the race of the ticket purchaser. There are a number of people here who believe the lottery is rigged so that only California gets the lions share
