Ga. Evening only...unhit straights
Very good leelee.... following string breakers too ! Cool ....
Tonight we had213 ....which was not an old straight really (only about 254 draws old) .....he last hit back in Feb 2012 straight ...box wise this Feb.
Oh well, just using this OLD straight list with no filters at all..... we can ONLY expect to hit about 33% of the time ......as the straights anyway. JUST odds wise I'm saying. Not too bad when you think about it ...for a straight. One every third draw huh? I have lived with th

is anyone making an income from lottery
Jimmy,
Explain exactly what you mean, when you say, lottery draws are not predictable, using past draws . Look at this stat for Fla's cash 3 for all the single combos. Would you not agree that you have very good odds playing nothing but singles. There are other factors in making the right choice to play, because no dummy is going to play 720 combos to win $500. Now on-line would be different if they allowed you to play 720 combos to win $900.

is anyone making an income from lottery
Kola,
Since you pledged in an earlier post that you would not forget us if (or was it when) you devise a winning system, I suppose we should all cheer you on. So, good luck!
On the other hand, given the overall parimutuel nature of Lotteries taken in aggregate, I can't help but suspect that you might harbor a death wish for The Lottery. Clearly, if you believe you can systematically win more than the mathematical odds predict, and you plan to make your methods available to everyone, logica

Playing PB with The Power Play in New York?
GiveFive,
Sweet Million, 5 of 6 (much more likely to happen, no?) pays a whopping $500, which is an insult when the odds are 1:18, 815.59
Powerball, 4 + the Powerball pays 4 + Powerball $10,000 $40,000 1 in: 648,976.
Maybe that's why. The lower tier prizes are much more enticing.
To each their own, but I'd be a little ticked off wining $500 in a Pick 6 game as opposed to a $40,000 score in a 5 + 1 game, even if it did cost an extra buck.

Do you see PB jackpots of $300 mil plus a fluke going forward with California joining in soon?
Stack47
I'm curious to know if you have any info regarding New York's Sweet Million game. Do you know what pecentage of ticket sales is paid out in prizes?
Even though it offers the best odds to win one million dollars, Sweet Million is not well received by NY's lottery playing public. The second tier prizes are low, and due to it's coverage problem not many JP's are won, which is something players react negatively to.
IMHO, the game does have it's up-side. The first 5 JP wins are not

Pari-Mutuel Powerball
If you compare fixed prize amounts of other states, versus the variable pari-mutuel prize amounts that CA has, over the long run, statistically they will even out.
I don't know how you figure that because California ranks 39 out of 43 states/jurisdictions on the percentage of the total sales paid out in prizes with 53%. The national average is about 62%. Your chart shows only four out of ten 5 + 0 winners benefited. The odds against matching 5 + 0 are bad enough and most of the winners got

Playing recently drawn numbers to win a jackpot
I don't know why you care about matching 2 of 5. For MM, it pays nothing unless you also match the mega number.
The object is to find a pattern that produces better than average odds and use it to win a jackpot. The most recentky drawn 35 numbers produced 17 opportunities to hit 5 of 5 last year............
Quoting Stack from an ealier post........
The probability is about 1 in 12 drawings that any 35 numbers should match five numbers or 9 times a year.
I know it creates too many

Hello Jack. Happy Easter
Thanks for your dedication each day. You are really helping folks by presenting those timely stats each day .....and for both games. That's a lot of work each day.....and in case you might wonder....they are really appreciated and have been helpful reminders on several occasions for several wins. Your work is good because it's based on real odds and real statistics.....not a lot of voodoo and confusing junk. Your post are a breath of fresh air every time. You keep i

California and Powerball
Assuming that neither Powerball or Mega Millions are won and re-set,
the Powerball jackpot will be $80 million for the Wednesday, April 10th drawing
Mega Millions will be about $56 million for the Tuesday, April 9th drawing.
When Californians have a choice, it would be interesting to see how many people will decide to buy $2 Powerball tickets instead of the $1 Mega Millions tickets when the jackpots will be close to the same amount and the odds of winning are about the same.
Would yo

Post your scratch ticket results
wow...I hate Cash In tickets..the $3 one..I got a variety from a $20 I put into a machine....a couple $2's, $5's, $3's ect
and got ticket #051 on the Cash In and won $150 lol! I had to look a few times, I NEVER saw more than $6 on one of
them. It had 3 matching winning spots...one for $90!, one for $10 and one for $50!
I still don't like them because that's a once in a blue moon type win on those darn things...in fact, just looked
and it's 1 in 10,000 odds - that's sick,
