LOTTERY’S First-ever millionaire raffle
50/50 payout no different than any jackpot lottery game...The important part is that the prizes are in cash and not annuities (1,000,000 split over 20 years = $50,000 per)Also, the prizes are guaranteed to go off (unless of course they don't sell out... no chance of that here in PA)IF I happen to snag $20 before nov. 22nd in a Powerball win (must be from PB win... not just having an extra $20), I might just get ONE.BTW odds are 4:500,000 of $1,000,000 because they will draw 4 winnersPA keeps div

Lotto South- Potential New Draw Days
Thanks for the info., CASH Only. I've only been playing the lottery for a few years, so I wasn't sure what Georgia used to have before Lotto South.I googled Lotto Georgia to see what it was like, and it appears that it was a pretty good game. It started at $2 million, similar to Lotto South, but the odds of winning were about 1 in 7 million (Lotto South's odds are double, at roughly 1 in 14 million). For the draws that I saw, the jackpot rolled over $1 million each time, which, again, is the

Mega Millions lottery jackpot raised to $262 million
You're odds of dying are 100% in the long run. Your odds of winning are much less. Try more unlikely events.1. Getting beamed onto an alien ship to get a probe .2. The big company you might work for decides your work is valuable like the CEO and gives you a heafty raise.3. You're struck by a meteorite on the way to get your ticket.4.Racoons possest by the devil rob you of your tickets.5.Detroit becomes a clean, well run, crime free city.If you're going to dream of something with low odds it mig

A new kind of Challenge?
Just6ntlc,As I stated in my post I was running a test also. The odds of having a match that pays something using the PB balls (0+1 or better) is 1:37 and the odds of matching 3 or better is 1:278 and I wanted to see if I could do better than either. I matched 3 in 44 lines so I beat the odds of 1:278. I knew one of the groups would have the PB since all 42 PB were used and I was trying to match each PB with a compatible group, but I failed to have the winning PB with a group that matched one o

Math odds..no digit return. How often ?
There are 1000 possible combinations of 3's. If you remove 3 numbers then there 343 possible combinations of 3's, so there would be 343/1000 odds that a combination coming up today would not have one of the numbers in the previous drawing if the previous drawing had 3 different numbers. However if the last number was a double then there would 512 combinations of 3's that wouldn't contain those two numbers, so there would 512/1000 odds that a combination coming up today would not have one of the t

New Game From Me
Well at the same time it's also a matter of this. You have a bag of 10 million chips, like an oversized 3 Strikes bag from the Price is Right. There is one green chip, and the rest are strikes. If you take one chip, the odds getting the green chip will be 1 in 10 million. But lets say you take another chip. The odds of getting the green chip on that pull is indeed one less than 10 miilion. But when you factor in whatever other chips you pulled prior or will pull later, it averages out to the div

What r the true odds of winnin a jackpot?
I've been thinking about this recently and could be completely off/wrong. But has anyone ever received a combination like 1 2 3 4 5 - 6 from a lottery terminal playing MM or PB? What about a combination like 51 52 53 54 55 - 42?I think there are certain combinations that the lottery terminals never spit out (I could be very very wrong and please correct me if I am). If you ignore these un-used combinations then the true odds of winning the jackpot will be lower. Also there are probably certain c

The Problem with Keno
there is one easy way to 'cut the odds' in half; and that is to 'cut it in half'! Here in GA., we have keno under the name 'quick cash . What it boils down to is this; you can bet up to 10 (out of 20), and if your 10 #'s are within that group of 20, you win. Which means , on average, you'r going to have about 1o numbers in the top part; (1-40) 10 numbers in the lower part. (41-80) Your odds are literally 'cut in half' and you could play sometype of wheel. Simple, is'nt it? Or you cou
