Pay for tickets w/ credit card? NYC promotions
I think in the UK your receipt shows the amount total, not sure if it also says amount of lines or an itemized list withall your numbers.
I meant it in the way of C C Liquor 1stAve 30$ , a general cc statement that you could then use to proof purchase by having your cc company giving the lotto comission this information. As an added security against getting swindled.
@teddi
I agree, there is no reason why stores couldn't say credit only for totals 10$ or something like that. Or the

N.C. Powerball lottery winner claims share of jackpot worth $188 million
Another great story. Blessings to this young mom her children. Happy to see she no longer has to worry about the future of her child with CP. My Granny used to day-sit a neighbor's CP daughter during harvest. It's an all hands on deck disability. Also glad to see she realized her first mistaking in that unofficial announcement. No telling how much trouble that caused her.. hence the security that I read about in another article. Plus she was flanked by a lawyer and financial adviser.

It's time the lottery needs to stop releasing a person name and picture when a big win is won!
I read that article shortly after it was published. Well, then that blows the water out of every argument that Texas doesn't allow for anonymous claiming then, huh? Not sure on the particulars, but I believe there is another lottery winner that's done the same here. That's what you should do if you ever win the lottery in Texas. Me? I'm saving my money and investing instead in a little sidearm security if I feel threatened. I'll also get a new phone number and will move, not simply because I'll

Bill would allow Texas Lottery winners to pay for anonymity
50 grand per million bucks? I believe I can handle my own security for that amount, thanks all the same. Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson will be my constant companions.
These off-the-wall bills come up more often than you'd think. The Texas Legislature meets only once every couple of years and for a max period of 140 days, although the governor CAN call them back in for a special session for a max of 30 days. I like it that way; the less time they spend meeting, the less damage they can do.

What easy solution is there for someone who has almost nothing in the bank account
If you're really that hard up all you really need is enough for a security deposit and a few months rent for a new place to live. If you've got several million dollars worth of collateral and a bank still considers you too much of a risk for a loan of just 5 grand you shouldn't be playing the lottery anyway.
Just because a person is their own worst enemy doesn't mean claiming anonymously shouldn't be an o

$14.5M Texas Lotto jackpot claimed
Since you don't live in Texas, you have no say in the matter. Only six states allow anonymous claiming, so don't make it out like Texas is the only one that doesn't. I tried to explain to you the reasoning behind it (transparency) and I thought that since you quoted my post, you had read it. Apparently not. If someone from Texas wants to remain anonymous, then they can always create a trust to claim it. I don't know about any other non-anonymous claiming states - that's their business.

Where's rdgrnr??
I miss Ridge. I actually liked his 'persona' here on LP. I wish he was still posting here. I'd like to know why he quit.. because I care that he is healthy and doing well. That does not mean I will exchange personal emails or much of my personal information with him or anyone else. I just don't do that with anyone. I've even got a group of gals that I've been 'friends' with since before the turn of the century that migrated to a secret FB page. I don't share my personal email, phone num

OHIO Lottery Machine was Hack using Fhhl Hacking it.
Good points Todd, but how would you implant the program?
New Mexico seems to go further with their security saying....
There is no network or internet access. The system is locked into the console and stored inside a secure room with restricted access. Log-on validation is required prior to the start of the game. Once the system is powered up every keystroke is record to a secure log that cannot be altered.
I'm not even sure you could run a nuclear power plant without some type networ

Steve Player's Pick-5 game using pick-3
OnlyMoney your still the best, nobody said they spent millions just for bragging rights... they may spend hundreds to show a few pick 3 wins but they still dont show you there was a loss doing it.
Not millions! then they sell books for 495.00 which not counting maybe losing a hundred bux on the tickets, cost them two bux to knock out, theres the profits!
Anyway... youre right it doesnt matter...i hope you will keep up the good ideas and posts that you put up They are very good...For cash n
