Do some number combinations have better odds?
Playing 56 numbers on 12 lines reduces the odds a great deal. I have tried it with take 5, lotto, powerball and mega millions. I did not have any luck with it though. I like the shotgun approach because you increase your chances of winning without spending extra money. Saving $5 for 4 weeks allows you to play 20 lines in one shot without spending extra money. It takes discipline to seat out 4 drawings without playing, but I buy quick picks, so it does not matter if I seat out for 4 drawing

$305 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot in rare territory
how did that work? Was it 1 line for each draw and then randomly produced 6 numbers matched to the next 6 randomly produced numbers? In order to get accurate result you need to use two completelly different random generators. And probably not 1 line, but at least couple of them, after all odds are 175mil. With the same rate succes you can match real drawings from previous to the next. And btw, 78years*52weeks*2draws*$2 = $16224 of total budget spend, and with that loosing only 8 grand

Lotto Winner Promises
If your lucky in this lifetime you WON'T be able to count your friends on one hand. Again thats if your lucky and yes I said you WON'T be able to count your true friends on one hand. Even in the movies (fantasy land) there is usually only one person left (if anyone at all, cause some times there is no one left to turn to) that the hero can turn to for aide or help. After you win the lotto plan on making new aquaintences cause your so called friends were just that, really only aquaintences at bes

Cash Five winning numbers...
OK. did't realize you were in jersey, i know where lumberton is but never heard of lumerton. I just bought a JC5 to see what this is about you have to spend a xtra $1 to get a 2nd line of #s which is printed vertically on the ticket, then if 1 of the winning #s on the horizontal line also appears on the vertical line you win $10. my tic. says 1 in 14 will win, I think that refers to the odds of getting a win

What are some of the best quotes that you have read about playing the lottery?
They still have the monies that I couldn't win back when I was playing the state. Due to the odds, $250 on a str8 play, my win/loss ratio was in the red because I couldn't play enough numbers to see any real profit, or, consistency. Back then, I didn't quite understand the pre-tests deal, and, it was hell trying to run around to different stores just to get all my tickets played...very tedious. I didn't know anything near what I know now in terms of approach, and, I learned of better resources t

Taiwan Pick 3
When you look at this chart , what strategy should one adopt. Clearly the 7 is overdue and it's the first time it's been out for 61 draws. Should you stick with the 7 falling in the 3rd position? If you play all your numbers with the 7 at this position then your odds increases, right? So you have xx7. No you have to consider position 1 and 2. 7 triggers 2 5. The 5 has not drawn in 3 days both in the first and second position so will it fall when the 7 falls in the 3rd position? The 2 in

RL's Digit Master Pro Big Game software download.
Frenchie, As a matter of fact that was RL' idea. The problem is the odds. It's crystal clear that if you select 15-17 filters and they are not in conflict with one another then you will get between 1 and 8 sets. How hard it is to achieve it shows CARBOB's setup. CARBOB is a very experienced user of DM and still you can see how hard it is to select correct values for more than 2-4 filters. My experience tells me that I'm able to hit 2-4 filter values max when I set them to 1 value only.

Could We Use Another Big Game Lottery??
Just looking at two recent threads https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/247928 and https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/249330 some members believe PB is in trouble, some believe MM is in trouble and a few believe both games are in trouble. Because there are many states playing both games there are many reasons why one game should do better than the other at times. Last week the reason was a no brainer when the MM jackpot was $13 million and the PB jackpot was $181 million. From the state lotteri

Could We Use Another Big Game Lottery??
Agreed RJ. But most of the million dollar state games don't hit very often. My state features the Megabucks+ game which can take several months before the winning numbers ever come up. Same with my neighboring state of MA, with it's Megabucks Doubler. The pick 5 games are a different story, but most of those only hit between 25k-100k, depending on what state your in. The casinos, scratchers, and pick 3-4 will always enjoy a good market share from their loyal fans. The niche

Mass. Lottery knew about exploited game's flaws for years, IG says
There are groups out there that play pick 5 games over the country when the jackpot reaches certain levels that make the return on dollar invested positive. Usually when a jackpot is $575k or more on a 575757 to one odds game is the wagering of large amounts in the tens of thousands are justified. You are going to get back a minimum of 20% of your money bet hitting two and three out of five. You might have dry spells for a long time but over time and with big pockets you will come out a winner.
