MM and PB jackpots
Here's an interesting fact: For the drawing on May 9, 2000 that produced the $363M jackpot produced sales of $195.6M for that drawing alone. (The total sales for the total run was about $565M.)At today's odds that amount of sales would have roughly a 1/3 chance of rolling over! There is no telling how many tickets might be sold in that case. The odds of there being just one winner would be slightly higher than the odds of the jackpot rolling over. The balance of probabilities is represented by

MM and PB jackpots
The best model we have is the performance of the old mega millions game which reached $294M before it was won by a player in Massachusetts back on July 2, 2004. The last several jackpots in that run seem to track what is happening here: $155M, $177M, $220M $294M parentheses showing the last three, which would need to be beat this time. Sales were $56M, $81M and $133M. The overall probablility of the last three jackpots rolling over would be, at today's odds, roughly 20%. A rollover at $295M

The Problem with Keno
I like your theory on keno. All I would add is that I found to keep the odds in ones favor is to play as I do and that is to treat it as some fun and not try and beat house odds. I play just 3 numbers which only pays me $25.00 for 3 of 3 hit. This seems to favor me much better than going beyond that even paying $100.00 for a 4 of 4 hit of which increases the odds considerably in the house favor. After some research in my keno game i came up with playing these 3 numbers which seems to repeat enou

Texas Lottery May Eliminate Lotto Bonus Number
Now they're on the right track. We need more pick-6 games, not less!Quite frankly, they should've went back to a pick-6 format when they joined Mega Millions. It's the obvious choice with bigger jackpots, better overall odds, and the Megaplier. The lower jackpot odds are the only incentive to play Lotto Texas now, seeing it's the same format. Going back to a 6-number game will help it stand out as a different game. Washington was very smart to ditch Lotto Plus when it joined Mega instead of wait

Powerball Plus
How's about this idea for a Powerball Add-On Game? I got the idea from the provincial 6/49s in Canada, and how they market it as a add-on to the national 6/49. But unlike other add-ons, this can be played alone. This format is based on the future 55+42, and is estimated to pay about 50%. It's made to provide bigger smaller prizes.Price : 20 per play or a full 5-play card for $1.Prizes And Odds per $1 : Prize Odds per $1 5+1 $1,000,000 (cash, tax paid) 1 : 29,221,592 5+0 $50,000 1 : 712,722 4+1

Hot in Ga
Thanks Folks We should try to keep this thing fun and make a little money, but not get so caught up in it that it becomes a drag on our life. Take it easy!Sandy, would like your opinion, I use 6 numbers in The Mint Julep numbers. Think I should go to 10? I am trying to keep it low for the people that play at the state odds only. I think 25 or 30 numbers are not too many if playing on-line odds. The state odds are so bad you must stay low. I value your input.ez

Ga. Evening Tues...Missing 3 digits KEY
I dont trust the state's Quick Picks. Most of the time I really think they issue numbers with a very low odds possibility ....on purpose.....like putting out the yesterdays number for example...etc. What are the odds that a number will come back? That little trick makes them tons of extra cash. It's not illegal for them to do it by the way.....and so ....... How many bright people would play yesterdays number the next day? That's right. But on the rare ...rare times that it does happen just
